No use arguing with stupidity. YOU are WRONG. :P In Moscow and St Pete, the hotels (not hostels) are exhorbitant. That's why I'd suggest using my old trick of paying a couple of days in a hostel (to be able to show the documents necessary for a Tourist Visa) and staying with friends (to save money).
The Europeans usually donīt travel with tours, they organize the trips themselves. The (5) Worlds trips I Have been - all in Europe, though - have not been by tours.
So, Celine82 is NOT stupid, vice versa.

About voting from Hersh via Cinquanta:
Cinquanta said the ISU Council will choose the new site in an email or fax vote Wednesday.
``We have outstanding candidacies,'' Cinquanta said by telephone.
Cinquanta dismissed the idea that Putin's support and his statement regarding the ease of handling the expenses have made the outcome a foregone conclusion.
``We are awarding the championship, not selling it,'' Cinquanta. ``And with the ISU (Council), you never know.''
I asked Cinquanta if he thought Russia is at least the favorite now.
``There are no favorites,'' he said.

Maybe now that Piseev is no longer the President of the Russian Federation, the old 'Alfa Bank Account' withdrawals no longer take place? Oops - I almost forgot, Piseev still is in charge...but with a new title.

Then referring to the International Olympic Committee vote for the 2016 Summer Olympics, he added with a laugh, `` ``For me, Chicago was the favorite.''
Chicago lost in the first round.

Nice to see all the offers roll in. I think the athletes will be happy that there WILL be a Worlds, and that it WILL be this spring -- the location is probably not of nearly so great an importance.

``We are awarding the championship, not selling it,'' Cinquanta.
BWAHAHAHAHA  And next week there is a lovely bridge that he would like to give you a great deal on.
``And with the ISU (Council), you never know.''
That's right, because they won't know how to vote until he tells them.

Isn't it kinda counter-productive for the US to submit 2 locations? Do they vote for a country or for a specific location?

 wtf with this spelling, buddy pani? The stuff like "greate" and "traning" is fine, yeah,.. f... it. These "inteersting," "Russain," "futire," let's count as typos :2faced:. But names of Skaters should, no.. MUST be spelt properly, somehow it speaks about the respect. No?
www.isuresults.com/bios/fsbiosicedancing.htm
I believe that English is NOT pani's first language so most of us cut the poster some slack. She would not be the first - nor last - to misspell someone's name. It's usually not a big deal to most of us.
