How on earth can the federation control any websites of any definition?

They don't have to control all sites. They have to sell tickets online and worldwide through the official saler.

The Federation does not sell anything-including tickets. They have enough of the duties these days in arranging everything regarding the competition and the teams including their viss, accommodations, etc, etc.

It's the job of the arena to sell the tickets.

We do not know the contract details between the Federation, the arena, the local organizing committee regarding who gets the tickets revenue.

But in Russia, the sports federations are non commercial organizations and they do not have the right to sell anything.

We, I mean fans, don't have to know. It's not fans' job. :D

Yes, please, I have the same problem... Does anyone know what's going on??? Is there really no chance to buy tickets online, except for the illegal sites who charge 3-4 times higher?

I have tried all the code I can think of,

Putin
World
Russia / Russia Rocks
ISU
Championship
Skating
FSU (don't you have any pull? lol)

+ Other less predictable words, including in Russian using google translate. None of them works! ARGHHHH!!!!

-----

Oh Perfect! Now all the tickets on both sites are no longer available :(

Anyone got any ideas?! They are really messing up on this one. I left my details on both sites couple of days ago, still have not heard anything about this FANCLUB CODE.

Same problem--how frustrating! Plus I think it said you can only place two orders online. If they put tickets on sale piecemeal that's not going to work.

Website also states that credit "cards emitted by banks in the USA" are not accepted. Not exactly the correct use of the word emitted, but I'm guessing that means they don't accept US credit cards. Therefore, Americans cannot but tickets??? Anybody know anything about this?

LOL Rich American can buy scalper's prices. I hope that does't apply to poor Europeans! But where did you read that? I just got a notice that says you need a FANCLUB Code, do you have the code?

Got the same Fanclub code message--have no idea what that is. This ticket site is the worst one I've ever used. Even the way they handle ticket pick-up is ridiculous--they tell you to ask for delivery and use any address, then pick it up anyway?

I don't get it either. What the hell it is?
Also, they prompt to chose the country but no matter what country you chose, the delivery is only available near Moscow.

Yes, Russia was going to do such a fabulous job. Let's just hope other aspects of the competition aren't on the same level as ticket sales.

What website are you all using? And what code are you talking about?

The only official website which sells tickets is www.parter.ru but all tickets available for today are sold out.
