Marchei officially withdrew from Worlds on March 10 - here's the link to the press release (in Italian): http://www.fisg.it/Figura/DocumentoDett.asp?IDNews=1494

The following was posted in the Worlds Entries thread on March 11 in Kiss and Cry:

Marchei out for injury (sprained her ankle during warm up off ice pre LP at Euros, sprained one knee legament during the actual LP at Euros).

Translation: tickets will be available on April 10th and cost will vary between 200 and 3000 rubles (i.e., almost free to about $100).

I'm planning a trip to Europe and it would have been nice to plan ahead. :)

Wow, I'm really impressed with how Russian political leaders are taking figure skating so seriously. Russia has become my favorite foreign country these few days.

The competition is scheduled to take place between 8-16 October. The decision to move the championships will be taken in May.

But Nobunari Oda did say he has to postpone his wedding party in order to be at Worlds. And for skate fans, which is more important? ;)
