A first look at Wonder Woman's new costume (http://splashpage.mtv.com/2011/03/18/adrianne-palicki-wonder-woman-2/)

Well the tights are definitely more practical for kicking bad guys *ss than high-cut panties, but there could still be potential for wardrobe malfunction with the tops  . Adriane Palicki looks good, but she reminds me more of Debra Winger as Wonder Girl.

I used to watch the old WW TV shows in the 70s, but it is so dated now that I cannot sit through it anymore. I really hope the new version will be kick *ss with a lot of real fighting actions and with WW beating up the guys.

I saw that earlier and my first thought was "I hope she doesn't sneeze." They must be using a lot of double-sided tape.

The costume is similar to the current comic book version, except that pants are a much brighter blue.

The blue boots are just...wrong. Not sure how to fix that as they'd look even more goofy in red with the blue tights. And even as a rabid fan of Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman, I actually wouldn't have minded if they'd modernized her costume even more.

There is no crime-fighting while wearing that costume. I don't like anything about it.

It needs to be updated to something functional and practical.

When the page was loading and the “top section” came up, looked like a “modern version” of a mascot for a Soviet May Day Parade……..

The upper section of her costume, the shape, the forms, the colors, the five point stars, the head band, etc… is nothing more than re-designed Soviet Military Insignia…… :D

Doesn't the new comic version use a darker blue(almost navy) for the pants and boots? And I thought she wore a cropped jacket also.

ETA:The new comic version. I like it better than the new TV version.

Since it's a "Wonder Woman" thread, I'm adding an origins and history page from DC Comics:

I actually forgot Cathy Lee Crosby played her in a movie.

Images and pictures over the years:

This would have been MUCH better. The red tank top as opposed to the giant boob-rockets works.

I actually forgot Cathy Lee Crosby played her in a movie. It should be forgotten. That was horrifying. ;)

those are pretty spot on, but I can't believe they didn't mention the BOOBS. Having L'eggs eggs shaped boobs popping out above the costume = so wrong

I think a young Jennifer Garner would have made an excellent WW, minus the boob-bursting costume of course.

Hey, don't knock it; after the cancellation of Xena Warrior Princess, lesbians need some icon to fantasize about.

Her boobs look as plastic as the outfit. Not good.

Nice hair, though.

I seriously doubt this will be half as great as Xena was :shuffle:

As long as the rope works I'm fine. She can test it out on Speedy so we can find out what he really thinks about Worlds :D
