The woman who runs the scholarship program that is paying for my MLIS degree has a cousin, Mitch Jackson, age 39, who has been missing since last Friday.

Here is the link to his story in the Daily Advertiser, a Lafayette newspaper. (http://www.theadvertiser.com/article/20110309/NEWS01/110309019/Man+missing+after+Friday+wreck)

The story has a photograph and a description of what happened.

"Anyone with information on Mitch Jackson’s whereabouts is asked to call Campbell’s Investigative Services at 517-3626, Tallie Jackson at 849-4798 or Lafayette police at 291-8600."

I know there's some FSU members in Louisiana, so I thought posting it here would be worth a shot.

How awful. I bet he was injured in the accident and was confused. He probably had some kind of brain damage from the accident. :(
