I've watched the show since the start. I actually tried out to be on the show in 2001 and got in a couple rounds before I was told that I wasn't "the look they were going for and that I should drop 30 pounds and try again next time." I didn't try again, but I kind of always wished I had.

I lost interest around the Paris season and found San Diego, Austin, Denver, and Sydney really boring and basically only watched a smattering of episodes. I didn't watch any of the Hollywood season and from what I hear, I didn't miss anything. One of my favorite seasons was Philadelphia, but a lot of people seem to not like that one. I have to say that Brooklyn, Cancun, and the new New Orleans got me really into the show again

Sweetie. We know that is when you started watching!! :P
 I was going through wikipedia trying to see how many of the seasons I watched and enjoyed. My suspicions were correct; I tend to like the earlier seasons better. And I was all set to blame the Vegas cast (Trishelle!) for the trainwreck direction the show went it, but I totally forgot about the Hawaii season.

I was a loyal viewer through the first 3 seasons. That kinda fell of during the steaming pile of boring that was the London season. I watched it casually through Vegas, but completely checked out after a few episodes of the Paris trainwreck. CT was seriously the most disgusting person I had ever seen on television up to that point. He made me feel like Puck wasn't really so bad. Unfortunately in the decade since, I've seen plenty worse than both of them.

BTW, does anyone watch basketball wives on VH1? Apparently this season features none other than Tammy from season 2.

LOVED IT! Knew I would, though. :D

My take on the cast:

Dustin. Lord, he is HAWT! I kept thinking, "he looks like some cutie I knew in my past". And then finally it dawned on me that he looks like Cahutta's younger (and taller) brother. Can't wait to see how everyone else reacts to his film career.

Adam. Loved how the editors threw him under the bus and showed him repeating his lines first with Nany and then his bimbo-du-jour. I expect they will continue to be hard on him as long as he keeps acting this shady. One thing I don't get about Adam...he's a nice looking guy, but he's not over-the-top gorgeous. I don't get some people who seem to have such a healthy ego, yet not be all that special in the looks department...

Nany. Love her. It'll be interesting to see if she stays with her boyfriend or not during this. I think she is strong and grounded, but from what we heard of her boyfriend during their phone call, the boyfriend is a bit of a loose cannon.

Naomi. At first glance I thought, "oh...she's going to the house bitch". But later when she was talking to Nany, she seemed really sweet. I'm thinking the three women are all going to get along really well together.

Leroy. Roid rage episode to come??? He seems kind of one-note. Can't wait to see how he reacts to Dustin's past career.

Heather. Haven't seen much about who she is yet. But she has good taste in men! ;)

And that's everybody. Six housemates. Aren't there supposed to be seven. Wait...isn't there another guy?

"Film" career. :P I looked him up and :eek::eek:.

Gay for pay, or is it going to be like Mike Manning from DC?

Didn't catch the first epy yet, so now I'm off to find it online.

I don't think he actually did films, he was on a website called "FratPad". I think it was just him and other guys living together with semi-nudity (maybe full nudity??). I don't think there was any sex.

 Adam is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs!!!

Can't handle his liquor...doesn't apologize to staff, and instead waits until they haul him into the office...and then says it's their fault for not cutting him off!

But Adam goes beyond somebody like Ryan Leslie from last season (New Orleans, the Arizona hairstylist) who is just delusional. Not only is Adam an alcoholic (an in-denial alcoholic at that) and from a troubled background, but I think he has mental health issues. With three major strikes against him like that, I think the Real World people made a real casting error. I know they want drama, but this is too much. Hopefully they get him some help like they did for Joey Kovar during the Hollywood season.

And what's up with Dustin taking ownership of Heather after a couple of kisses?

P.S. Wikipedia just spoiled a major plot point for me...no warning. F***ers! ;)

Heard through Vevmo that he was one of the popular ones on the site because he was one of the few that would cross the boundaries & give & receive oral . Not sure if that was ever confirmed for sure, but it would add a level to what Heather & the rest of the cast would think plus the answer to his have you ever game or whatever that was in the 1st ep.

I can't decide if this cast seems kind of boring, or just has major trainwreck potential. Either way, just like every other season from the start, I'll be watching.

Man, this male drama is very entertaining. All the dudes have major issues in their own way. I can't believe that the girls seem rather blah, but somehow I think they'll come out in the following episodes.

I'm loving Dustin's dialogue. Some of the quotes I was -ing over:
- Calling Mike "Mike Mike"
- "Life ain't a game, son." (using the term "son" all the time)
- "You are just absurd, sir."
- "That is the most never... ever in the history of everdom...."
- "I might pitch a tent, shucks. Sleep on that rock." (referring to the picture on the wall)

Dustin is right behind Adam in the cuckoo cukoo department... but I'm quite curious as to his fratpad past.

Leroy should have told Dustin without consulting with Mike or Heather; Dustin should have been angry with Leroy for putting Mike in that position. Heather was the one who threw herself at Mike, so Dustin should have been upset with her also.

I don't get the beginning of this week's episode in regards to Heather and Dustin. They barely know each other...they hang out some, they kiss some. There has been zero discussion about what kind of relationship they have...even if a relationship exists or not.

Then after the kissing "fiasco" (), Heather apologize to Dustin, who says, "we'll get over it". What, you've known each other...four days?? Can't wait to see what happens when our Heather finds out that Dustin and his former male roommates passed the time by ****ing each other's ****s...!!!

Later in the episode when they said the roommates would be working for/with Carey Hart, all I could think of was...PINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I didn't think she'd be there...so when she shows up - well, I would have lost it! I loves me some PINK!!! :respec: :40beers:

Then towards the end of the episode Leroy gets all judgemental about Adam. It bugs me when people compare hardships like it's all some big competition. "I had it rough...and I don't pull the sh** that he pulls!" Leroy...you and Adam did not live the same life. Maybe you went through **it, but had some form of support in some other part of your life. It appears Adam had no support, only **it to deal with, and now his life is screwed up because of it. I don't think getting all judgemental on somebody ever helps that person get out of where they are stuck and begin to make positive changes with their lives...

Is anyone else still watching this show? I finally just caught up. When did Zito all of a sudden come out looking like a hero?!?! What an episode tonight.

I must say that this season has been a guilty pleasure of mine.:shuffle:
