I have to start this thread since I am a big fan of his skate! :D
(Admin, please move it if it does not belong here).

I have been cheering for him quite a while and I am so happy that
his "one of its kind" skate gets more and more recognition these days.

Here's the article about Jonathan:

"His passion came through. He truly, by the way he moves his body, and through his whole body -- his face, his hands, the fingers, the foot -- I felt what he was trying to convey. When that happens -- for those of us who are a bit neurotic and passionate about what we do in the arts -- it moves you to the point where I was really tearful, as you saw. It was so moving that it should make people understand that there are other things in skating that can move you, not just all the tricks"

I have a few photos back from 2009 Nats (practice).

Even at the practice, the beauty of his movement stands out. :)

Does he have the big jumps consistently in run-throughs, and he just can't deliver them in competition? Or is he still trying to learn the jumps?

Oh, I did not know that there is a thread about him in The Trash Can - please merge this with that! ;)

Here's the link to the Cassar thread (I posted this article link on page 2 earlier today :)): http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=77525

I saw Cassar landing some 3-3 combos in Nationals practices and run-throughs but didn't notice any 3A attempts in Greensboro (see my post #1 in the thread linked above).
