Okay, I admit that personally I feel that at the present Tessa is the top female dancer. I was just covering myself as I know that others don't care for V&M and find some of the praise for them to be exaggerated.

I'd like to point out that Evgeny Platov, John Kerr, Barbara Fusar-Poli, Stephanie Lambiel and Tatiana Volosozhar have all praised V&M highly (as have many other well-respected skaters).

So if you praise them, you are in good company. ;)

At the moment I see no reason to expect that V&M's names won't be on the GP list and that they won't actually compete. I'm really looking forward to seeing V&M be able to skate an entire season. Especially after looking at how good they looked the past two seasons having skated with an injury and with missed time. I can only image a clean well trained V&M; that's why I see at least one more world title in their future should they want to try for it.

I think the last full of joy season for them was in 2007-2008. Even in 2009-2010 all time they had some problems - even problems with there flight to GPF.
So it could be really greate if they will skate full season and if Tessa will feeling good.
And i think its very interesting idea 'ICE' ISU Open Pro-Am series . This will give to skaters more opportunities to show newprograms, made money and this will be good for fans :D

I don't know. According to what they've said about Tessa's injury, that's the season when she started feeling lots of pain. I got the impression that season was stressful in that they didn't know what was causing the pain and why it was getting worse.

^^

They've mentioned that she started to feel some pain while doing CD's during the 2007-2008 season.

But it seems to have been the following summer (i.e. the summer of 2008) that the problem became serious, IIRC.

Yes. She start feeling pain, but only during CDs. The thing become worst at WCh, but they satrt workin 10-14 in summer and after this she began to feel this pain all the time :(
This is amaing - practies FD segments only 30 seconds and become OGM :P

Tessa and Scott will not go to Sport Marketing Conference :(
The game - will we see them in process
An so many splits now.... Two greate patners now near Scott - Chock and Crone

WHAT.. is this also a joke? Scott would never leave Tessa to skate with Vanessa Crone or Madison Chock! He won an OGM with Tessa! The other ladies have only been in the back of the top 10 in the world and Chock has never even gone to the Olympics!

blue_idealist, that comment by Pani shouldn't be taken seriously. (No offense!) But Pani, you get paranoid so easily.

There is no way that Scott would ever switch partners and leave Tessa.

I read at FB they skate a little bit, but didnt find whrere this information came.
And i think for up-lifthing programs this will be good to use some music from operetta

Am I the only one who would like to see these two teams with two different choreographers?

I'm guessing this is for the short dance and refining their Rhythm/Latin technique, where I wouldn't think choreographic variety would be of especial importance.

I'm more interested in what looks like confirmation of their competing next season (though I've been assuming they would, anyway).

I am second one ;)
But last seasons this two teams had different off-ice choreographers for indian dance and flamenco, for tango and latin FDs.

But yes - when i first this information first thought was "maybe they will skate all together in nexct season"

Marina and Igor's choice to conveniently bring in one specialist to work with the world's top two teams, who train in the same location and on mostly the same schedule, on a program that will have the exact same rhythms and technical requirements, is most definitely an indication that the tide and their biases have turned in the past two seasons. After all, nothing was stopping them then from bringing in one of those many choreographers who specializes in both Bollywood dance and traditional Spanish flamenco, or tango and Latin rhythms. This is indeed a deeply suspicious turn of events. ;)

Maybe Elena is really best choreographers and both teams dream to work with her, but IMHO its alwayse interesting to see something speciall in style in different teams programs. So i dont think its good idea. In 2009 D-W and V- had very similar ODS. I dont think this was good for both for them een if i like D-W in that dance.
But i more interesting in V-M future plans- is this means something or no?
