I have to do a dance show for school and I would like to know which Bollywood songs would be the best for some groovy-upbeat numbers.

Any ideas??

I do not know Bollywood music that well but Slumdog Millionaire comes to mind.

Davis/White's Indian OD from last season may be a good place to start: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56_Zs10qQhQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56_Zs10qQhQ). They used music from Bunty aur Bubli and Devdas.

Hot Hot Hot from Bend it Like Beckham is pretty good. Otherwise how about
Chori Chori by Aneela & Arash
Streets of Bollywood - Baby girl remix by Hunterz
Bollywood Bound from "Greatest Bollywood Remixes"

Look them up on Youtube and use Zamzar.com to download if you like them

"Punjabi Wedding Song" from the movie "Bride and Prejudice" is upbeat and has a lot of variety. Also "A Marriage Has Come to Town" and "Dola Dola" from the same movie. They are available for download on the internet.

Try Madhuri Dixit's "Didi Tera Devar Diwana" (I may not have the exact spelling) on You tube.

The dancing is not great, but the song is nice and can be danced to.

P.S. Movie title: Hum Aap ke Hai Kaun
