OMG!!!! WHAT HAPPENED!!!

Two of the eggs have hatched and now I see there is a beaver snack on the side. There was a rabbit snack for a couple of days, the beaver is a new addition to the pantry.

So it's not a dead upside down bird (the claws?). Thank God! That gave me such a scare!!

 Nope, the babies are nuzzled under the mama keeping warm. Or maybe it's the papa right now, they take turns.

And if you would like to see the Raptors nesting in Portland, Oregon, check out KGW.com & scroll down to Raptor Cam. They, too, have three eggs.

New addition to the Decorah pantry, looks like some kind of large bird.

Iowa Eagles were a new story on one of the Canadian national supper-time broadcasts today as the latest viral internet sensation - also mentioned other cams and other birds.

Does anybody know what it was that they had in the Decorah nest last night (some kind of food, presumably)?

Btw, here's my other favorite bird cam, penguins in the Edinburgh zoo (http://www.edinburghzoo.org.uk/EZPenguinCam.html) which are quite fun to watch. They currently have nest rings set out and are in the process of laying eggs.

More snow at the Decorah site - the camera housing is covered.
