As I am only 52, here are some things that I would still like to do in my life (and, no, they don't all have to be big, epic things.)

Visit Auschwitz :(

I've done that. Probably one of the most important and devastating things I've ever done. I still get chills and tear up when I think about it, many years later. Knowing about, reading about, seeing photos of what happened there is bad. But, actually being there. Seeing the different buildings and their contents. Walking in the footsteps of so many who were murdered - it's just numbingly horrifying.

As for something I would like to do, I would like to live in Tuscany and travel around Europe at my leisure. These things don't have to be things we could actually ever do? Right?

Bake something and have it actually turn out tasty

Be as content as possible with whatever crosses my path. :)

Have a huge bathtub and great bathroom. Perfect for 5 hour baths complete with candles, champagne and a supply of paperback books. Apartment bathtub doesn't quite cut it.
Learn to play the violin
Take voice lessons
Retire now, leaving lots of time in the day for skating while everyone else is at school or work
Live on a houseboat
Buy a house on the lake.
Travel around the world to experience opera in differing settings.
But greatest fantasy :shuffle:. Get to put on my skates and stand on the ice near the boards for even 10 minutes of an elite Mens Practice session. To feel the speed and power and be on that side of the boards would be a dream come true. :o

Win Powerball so that I can do all the things I listed above.

Nubka - Anne Frank house is very worth visting. I went as an adult, and could not believe how much of the book (read in jr hight) just popped up in my memory. I did go to Dachau also, and though sad/horrific, as a citizen of the world, it was something to see and reflect on. I am not sure how to word it, but it was a place one should go and pray/acknowledge.
