Have a huge bathtub and great bathroom. Perfect for 5 hour baths complete with candles, champagne and a supply of paperback books. Apartment bathtub doesn't quite cut it.

Just renovated the master bath (the shower was leaking). And we just ripped out the Jacuzzi, because in 25 years, I think we used it 4 times. Put in a make-up/vanity area instead.

 :yikes: :(. When I had more time, I used to stay in the tub for hours at a time. I had a great old bathroom in KCMO. Deep, deep tub with a window over the middle of it. I used to love to open the window in the winter and fill the tub with hot water. Candles, classical music and that cold fresh air pouring in. Those were the days. :)

I want to see my children and their families happy and comfortably settled.
I want to dance at my granddaughters' weddings, should they get married.
I want to dance on my 50th wedding anniversary (which could possibly be around the time a granddaughter gets married?).
Anything after that is gravy.

There's about three things left on my "bucket" list that I haven't done yet. One is skydiving. I had the opportunity to do it when I was in my early 30's. I decided not to jump out of the plane because a weird feeling came over me that my parachute wouldn't open when it came time to pull the ripcord. :P

The other 2 remaining things on my list.

* Finally go to an actual live skating event hoping no one gets ill where I have to end up selling or giving away the tickets again.

* Go to Paris, climb the Eiffel Tower and end the day with a champagne glass filled with Dom Perignon.

I can't think of anything else at the moment because I've accomplished the other things on my list which included visiting every southeastern & southwestern state from Florida to California traveling by car. :)

Build a new house - but this house is ok

I have already had a wonderful life and accomplished most of my goals, but still have some dreams:

- transition to my 2nd career before age 50 (part way there already, I have loved my current career in social work/therapy but ready for a change) - either management position at the college or my own private practice.
- drink a nice glass of red wine from our villa (rented) in Tuscany (doing it in July for our 25th wedding anniversary) :D
- bunjee jump when I'm 50 (I survived sky diving already)
- learn to scuba (a fear for me) :yikes:
- get a tattoo :P
- see penguins in their natural habitat (I love penguins)
- eat my favourite food (sushi) in Japan
- buy another boat (when no longer paying tuition fees)
- sail my own boat to the Caribbean
- go to Sochi, hopefully watch my daughter compete (not figure skating  ) but if not the two of us have an amazing adventure
- go to Hawaii, use those new scuba skills :P
- watch our daughter graduate from vet school, make us some grand babies :shuffle:
- either move or have the house renovated so i can have a large soaker tub as I love baths..
- last one.. be a size 12 again and get a whole new wardrobe (was a size 16 but almost now into a size 14).

Now just need to win the lottery to pay for all of this :shuffle:

Well, I'm hoping to fulfill my New York bucket list items this spring, but others would include:

~ snuggle a sloth

I have an ex-husband who easily fits that description… care to borrow him? :P

********

- Take a motorcycle tour through England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales

- Live without chronic pain

- Write a snarky satire book about parenting (from "Sperms, meet Ms. Egg…..Ms. Egg, meet, er….everyone" through kicking them out of the house when they're an adult.

Visit Russia, Poland (including Auschwitz), Germany, Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic, the Countries in Scandinavia, especially Norway,
