^Not sure about the expectations, but B/S were second at Euros and seemed very likely to finish 4th here and to be the main contenders for a medal if some of the top 3 teams aren't clean (which actually happened with P/B), so the medal for them was really possible

^Well of course you're right; B/S had a very good chance to medal; I'm just not sure they should have been expected to.

[QUOTE=Ziggy;3165593]It was definitely a better tango than what we got from our new Ice Dance World Champions.
:EVILLE:

a very talented little girl but the only thing her performance had in common with a tango was the music.

sorry my quote somehow lost the original comment I was referring to, I meant the link to the , 10-year-old Aleksandra Proklova's performance.

I read Piseev as saying that Zhulin would just be better off retiring from coaching.

Interesting reading the interview: I think he's saying that Miki Ando and Amodio CAN actually stay in Russia and be coached by Morozov? But those two are the only exceptions?

Also, P/B will be replaced by some canadians or americans, does that mean I/K are moving to Marina/Igor???

I wonder if they'll send I/K to Zueva/Shpilband and want Zhulin to coach B/S, since I can't imagine Soloviev leaving Russia when he has a wife, small child, and family there.

He says "for example", so yes, it seems that they are exceptions, but maybe not the only ones, just those whose names he could recall right away.

If that's the case, I would say that I/K don't know about it yet.

If I&K are truly switching coaches, I'm hope to god it's to Morozov (never thought I'd say that about any skaters I like, but yeah ).

Oh PLEASE don't send I&K to Shpilband & Zueva, this is extremely selfish but I'd rather they be enjoyable to watch than win medals with the dullest dreck imaginable :fragile:

What kind of attention would I&K really get at Canton anyway if they went?

The Worlds podium is already there plus S&B and C&Z (among numerous other teams).

How many teams do S/Z have exactly?! Isnt it about 35346 already?!

I wouldn't be surprised if I&K go to Shpilband/Zoueva. But I wonder how Zoueva would feel about that given that she's trying to get her son to the Olympics and presumably an Olympic medal.

Do I&K have any say themselves who coaches them or does the federation just tell them where to go?
