Adelina is a doll with a good head on her shoulders. Its telling for her future in the sport that this she has this kind of attitude after all of the hype that's been around. She clearly has a good support system that keeps her grounded.

She is incredibly pragmatic and sensible for someone her age. Along with her talent, work ethic and support she is in a very good position. :kickass:

Me too! I just looove Fedorova/Miroshkin, they are cute!

Me too! They are so charismatic and have "it". I hope they can get triple throws for next year. Their side by side Biellmans are AWESOME!
(and maybe she can grow a bit so they won't look as awkward)

Sure! No doubt Russia is the only country where the full and reliable data on drugs and drug users is not available, while all others have it since it's so easy to collect it . It's also undoubtedly that "most of pot smokers" means "inevitable all." And of course the request please-take-offtopic-from GSD-to-PI-or-whatever, where the opinion on "inaccuracies" of some dilletanttes who happen to treat actual drug users is not applicable, means stay here and keep :blah:.

The serious part of the interview was about the show (25th anniversary of Igor Bobrins theatre) that they are going to give on March 3rd with Plush, Lambiel, Slutskaya, B/S, others. ;)
The show was on a tiny stage. It was a real theatre stage with a tiny rink, no skirting, very dark, etc. It's really amasing how they could manage to jump triples there:

Nuanced, relevant scientific thinking is not your forte, lt. Le shrug. As to your request: not really practicing what you preach, are you? ;)

Yes, that is amazing.

Unfortunately, the Russian men have never been weaker. There is Gachinski, but with a coach like Mishin (great technical coach), there is now way that he will get any interesting and modern programs. And, who else? The men that bombed at the Junior World Championship? Maybe Urmanov should learn how to produce consistent skaters with interesting and innovative programs.
Seriously, do russian coaches see what is the trend in figure skating? It is not just jumps...well they can't even jump right now.

Who handles choreography for Urmanov's skaters?

I wish Urmanov would produce quality skaters just so we could see him at the board and in the KnC. :grope:

The language, old girls! :D

Who handles choreography for Urmanov's skaters?
Kazakova, Kosheev for Gorshkov; Kazakova, Potapova for Bush. At least the official info says like this.

Yag also congratulated all women on International Women's 8 March and tells how the life would be boring without women and how much men need them.

Love both girls - but why are their programs designed around the gloves?

I think it will be difficult to find another partner for her...for various reasons (i.e., she blew it with a stable and talented skater this year, she isn't known for consistency herself, and then there's the attitude and sleeping with the coach factor)

I don't know why Maria is being blamed for the breakup. May be I don't know the whole story, but my understanding was that the Russian pairs are very deep now, and M&B were not high enough in that very deep field, so they probably felt they had no future. They had not skated for very long and were already looking good. May be the politics were against them to move up?

I don't see how SWTC could be a factor (and I don't even know if that's reliable info). It did not hurt Totmianina.
