Anybody have a hand or palm tattoo? I would like to get one there (leaning towards hand, but palm seems nice too) someday...

The shoulder's and spine hurt quite a bit and I'm a big wimp too when it comes to pain but I heart mine

If your facebook settings are set to private, you have to direct link to the picture, otherwise we can't view it.

No... my FB setting are private, yet my tat picture, which I included in my first post in this thread, can be viewed from this thread (I explain how that is below). I even logged off of FB and clicked on "Preview Post" to make sure when I was writing that post last night, and it worked. I can view it now, on my work computer, which isn't logged into FB.

On the bottom of every FB photo page, there's a link that can be used on message boards or to email the picture to people who don't have a FB account. If you use the address link in the address bar, it won't work. You have to use the link at the very bottom of the page, under the photo you want others to see.

^^^Wow - how long did the Vancouver tat take to complete, or did you go for more than one sitting for that one?

The Flags were done in one sitting, August 2008, I did the Vancouver one in April and that was all one sitting.

These all look great. I forgot about the itchy part. A guy at work has had several, he said they didn't hurt per se, but that he was going mad with the itching! I think I'm too wimpy for this!

I love them, Lee and Kylet! :)

Yep, I found a picture of a dragon that had it's tail wrapped up around it, and then found a more celtic dragon, and added in the celtic knot to the tail, then the tattoo artist took that and cleaned it up a bit, and voila. It was to commemorate my first trip out of the country to Scotland :)

Very cool. :)

I have two, a maple leaf on the back of my neck and a symbol I got from a book on my inner wrist. The one on my inner wrist didn't hurt at all even though people told me the wrist would hurt a lot. The one on my neck didn't hurt at all either EXCEPT when it went over a bone and then the pain sharpened quite considerably. It wasn't terrible but you could definitely feel the difference.

The one on my neck was my first tattoo and I freaked about it for so long I had to have a friend hold my hand. And then it didn't hurt AT ALL. I was so embarrassed after for making such a big deal. Actually, I even showed up with an entourage - one friend to hold my hand, another who wanted to watch and one more friend who came to watch the friend who wanted to watch because she tended to faint at the sight of needles. The guys at the tattoo shop must have thought we were nuts.

And yes, the itching is the worst. It's nothing compared to the actual tattoo, it's the itching and not being able to scratch. Worst. Thing. Ever.
