Denis Ten in Nesquik Cup 2011

Does anybody know why Denis Ten was in Nesquik Cup in Junior Men competition?

There was no Senior Men's event in Poland and I heard that Denis Ten wanted to get in an extra international before he competes in the 7th Asian Winter Games in his home country (Jan. 30-Feb. 6 in Kazakhstan).
