How was Johnny about to be outed? Aside from by his own book?

Not Richard Simmons. He is not writing a book.

When is Gareth Thomas coming out with his book. I'll buy that one for the pictures. :hat1:

I read the People article at the grocery store. I was disappointed because Johnny comes off as extremely young and very immature in the article.

Did you read the excerpt from his book on the other thread? I think that's not just "coming off" that way.

Seriously, he was "pretending to be straight?" To what audience, blind, deaf and exceptionally stupid people who have never heard of figure skating? Because seriously...though in some thread long long ago I do recall saying I could see Johnny marrying a woman SOLELY TO MESS WITH PEOPLE. (And why not? I appreciate going the extra mile to wind people up, even if he and I generally have different targets.)

In Scooby-Doo voice, "HUH?!" I was seriously considering buying his book, but if it's filled with falsehoods like this, then I don't think so. :shuffle:

The idea of Johnny pretending to be straight reminds me of the episode of Will & Grace where Jack says his mother doesn't know he is gay and someone answers "has she met you?"

He never said he was pretending to be straight.

He never said he was pretending to be straight.

Nevertheless, he might have tried this or that. (http://i52.tinypic.com/2rpf9me.jpg) ;)
