Actually, people have complained about Caroline hijacking other skaters' threads.

Caroline currently is scheduled to compete in the Senior Ladies SP event at the California Championships (club comp.) at her home rink in Artesia on Saturday, May 14, 12:40 pm. Leah Keiser (2010 Novice champion) and Stephanie Rigley (GBR) are the other 2 registered in this event.

Good for her, I wish her well.

OTOH, Leah's Senior? Wow! I guess she didn't want to try for Junior nats. again. How old is she now?

Leah will be 14 in September. I don't believe she has tested up to Senior yet, though she is scheduled to debut two Senior programs at this small competition. Bring on Caroline's new SP by David Wilson and the 2011 US club comp. season!

Oh, okay...that makes more sense! And yes I agree! I should be at Liberty this year.

LOL. I will settle for a PBP by someone there, with attention played to jump technique...

Cross posting from GSD:

California Championships Senior Ladies Short Program:
1 Caroline Zhang 48.54 (3F+2T, 3Lo, 2A)
2 Leah Keiser 47.11 (3Lz+3T, 3F, 2A)

I don't know their program music at this time, sorry! I was told both looked really good despite the "low" scores, which is not unusual for clean programs with very good jump content this early in the figure skating season. Kudos to both for skating clean in their first competition! Zhang isn't scheduled to compete in the FS; Keiser will do a Senior FS exhibition tomorrow.
