"The Cape"!!! The US version of "Being Human". The return of "V". The end of "Big Love".

I will definitely give The Cape a try, if only for Summer Glau and in memory of the long gone Terminator SCC. I will try and catch Off The Map but the trailer does not seem to compelling. And a BIG :respec: for the return of "V"!!!!!

I haven't heard of all the shows listed, but so far none of the ones for which I've seen commercials are really grabbing me.

Thanks for loving V!
I manage the DVD release and it won't go to DVD for S2 unless it gets decent ratings in the winter. I'm also a fan (which I can't say is the case for all of our shows).

The other one to take a hard look at is SHAMELESS, based on a UK show. I saw the pilot last May and all I could say was "omg...omg..." as I was watching it. Loved the writing, cast, acting. William H Macy stars as an alcoholic deadbeat single dad with a raft of kids. Story is more about how the kids cope. Pilot was awesome, but very, um, adult/cable.

Starts on Showtime Jan 9 I believe. Interested to hear feedback.

Oh and thanks for the shout out to Being Human. We handle BBC, too and that one's one of my faves.

There is a cable show called Spatacus: Blood and Sand. Saw it on DVD and loved it despite the runchy adult content and language. The show is up in the air right now because the star has dropped out because of cancer, however, a short six episode prequel is also planned for early next year. (2011) I look forward to seeing it but the fate of the original series is uncertain and the lead of Spatacus has not been recast.

I have to give The Cape a try. I saw the preview for the first time before the previews at a movie and I thought it was a real preview for a movie! It seems like it has a really good budget with high production values.

Anyone know if there will be a new season of Project Runway? I haven't been able to find anything online. I know Heidi has a new (different) show on Lifetime starting soon.

I would be shocked if Project Runway wasn't having a new season but isn't that show only once a year? So it may not be on until the summer or fall? I can't remember when it runs.

I'm a West Wing fan, so I will be tuning in to see Mr. Sunshine for sure!

The second half of Pretty Little Liars will be back on the 3rd. Looking forward to that.

Bizarre Foods will be back sometime in the first few weeks of January. It's one of my fave shows and I'm glad the new season is so early. Usually doesn't start till around March.

The Vampire Diaries won't be back until Jan 27th. :(
