Merry Christmas to all FSU posters who celebrate this holiday! My family is celebrating Christmas at my sister's this year. We've just finished opening our presents and are now eating brunch.

Yes! We have a white Christmas! 3 inches as of now and more on the radar. Whee!!! No traveling.....though I miss my family. We'll celebrate Monday if it's safe to drive by then. We don't know how to drive in this stuff, and I think there are only 3 snowplows in the state of Georgia. Atlanta's supposed to be getting a couple of inches too, and then it's going to freeze. It's the ice, not the snow that's the scary part.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

We've got 3 inches with more to come :encore: (the ice that's coming tonight, though, :scream: :yikes: ).

Mele Kalikimaka!

Why does this make me think of "National Lampoon Christmas Vacation"? Poor ole Clark Griswold!

I hope everyone had a good day today.

My "today" is Proclamation Day (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proclamation_Day) (everyone else's Boxing Day), so I am lounging around watching the cricket because nothing is open in South Australia. Everyone else in the country is shopping till they drop

I don't know, but Mele Kalikimaka is Merry Christmas in Hawaiian.

Meeri Ikriistmas is probably how I'd try saying it in Karuk.

But I do wonder why I always have the urge to sing 'Mele Kalikimaka a Usted'?

Did I kluge that together in my head or did I actually hear that somewhere?
