Philadelphia!

I think it would more likely be Reading.... which I would be cool with as long as I'm guaranteed a room at the Sheraton.

Reading would actually be fine too and so would Pittsburgh :)

I think US should get 4CC since Canada had it in 2009 and then Canada should get GPF. I wonder if London gets the test drive or if they put it in tried-and-true Hamilton, Halifax, Ottawa or Kitchener?

Glad to see Skate Canada earlier in the season again. Has anyone heard any rumours of where Skate Canada might be next year?

Yeah, the time changes the following weekend, so no screwed up recordings! Wasn't Kelowna the rumour going around in Kingston?

LOL that does make it easier! I don't know if I remember hearing anything about Kelowna or not....I was kinda hoping Saint John or wherever in New Brunswick that was up against Kingston would get it next year.

Places in the US I'd love to see SA (I have no clue if there's usable ice in any of these places, but I'm also not the one deciding):
-Phoenix, AZ
-Nashville or Memphis, TN
-Long Beach, CA (didn't we have a JGP out there?)
-Chicago, IL (too big a town?)

for Phoenix - it will most likely be at the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Nashvile hosted Nationals back in 1997, the arena is now known as Bridgestone Arena, Memphis heard its nice city, i thinkthe fedex forum might just be the right size; Long Beach where will they host it? Chicago, they can use either Allstate Arena or the UIC Pavilion. maybe a US city will host 4CC in 2012 since no host hasn't been announced.

They were originally planning to hold the 98 Goodwill Games at Madison Square Garden in NYC, but for some reason ( :bribe: I guess) moved it out to Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. I was so  about it as MSG would have been perfect becuase it's right above Penn Station, so getting there is super easy no matter where you're coming from. It had a great field too - Kwan, Slute, Bute, Hubert, Urmanov, Eldredge, Plushenko, K&O in dance, B&S, K&D, and S&Z, in pairs, etc...

I was always hoping they would eventually hold SA or some event there as I would definitely go, but I'm guessing it's too expensive to do it in NYC or similar reason.

I only mentioned LB because I knew that a JGP was held there and LA Live would likely be too expensive.

Yes, it was held at Glacial Garden Skating Arena in Lakewood, California in September 2004 (but obviously too small for a Senior Grand Prix event).

In southern California, a venue such as the Citizens Business Bank Arena (approx. 8000 seats for skating/hockey) in Ontario may be more feasible for a future Skate America or Nationals. A national level competition -- the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships -- will be held there in early March 2011.

I assume the Honda Center in Anaheim would be too big. Boo!

how about baltimore and the 1st mariner arena as the venue? is that sufficient enough? i remember some cheesefest being held before in daytona beach as well.

slightly OT here: any idea which cities are bidding for US Nationals 2013?
