All these polish colors are amazing.

I wish I had decent fingernails so I could join in with the nail polish fetish club, but due to years and years of chewing and biting on them, my nail beds have receded so far back that they can't grow past my fingertips without splitting, cracking, or breaking (plus they look :yikes: ) :drama:. If I want pretty nails, my only option is pretty much limited to having tips put on, which I really, really dislike.

I bought the OPI Pirates of the Caribbean pack on a whim last night. Today I'm wearing Sparrow Me the Drama (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VP1oqyz-c6w/TZ6i-uJVKFI/AAAAAAAAAQ0/-ncCeRlUA5s/s1600/OPI+Sparrow+me+the+drama.JPG) and I love it! I don't usually wear pink but this shade is quite flattering.

Okay, I've started my blog--please check it out! Comments are suggestions are welcome. :) I'm still working on the formatting, etc.

Very late to responding, but I checked out your blog :respec: . Love it - keep it comin' !! :cheer2:

I'll go to the Lancome counter tomorrow and check out some samples! :D Thanks so much Cyn!

…..Soooo….have you gone and harassed :P consulted with the gals at the Lancôme counter yet? ;)

ETA: Stopped by Target yesterday and picked up Essie Master Plan. (http://d1535dk28ea235.cloudfront.net/preset_64/149_4.jpg) I've been wanting a gray for the fall (or the cold, foggy San Francisco summer) and thought this would be on the right side of edgy for my work. Right now I am wearing Essie It's In The Bag (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i7DLFM_mZmU/S7e-3nCPFXI/AAAAAAAAAVw/STFT77hGRlg/s1600/IMG00630.JPG).

But did you find a cosmetic bag?

I rarely polish mt fingernails, but always do my toes. I got OPI's Rising Star at a mall clearance sale for $2 this week. I love it on my toes.

Plus this blog with the photo is kind of cool. Rising Star is the gold shade pictured second here:

Its a very pretty color, and do you paint your nails yourself? They look amazing. Whenever I do it it looks like a 4 year old did it. Do you have any special techniques you use?

Also, for anyone with curly hair--Ouidad shampoo and conditioner is meh. It left my hair feeling a little dry.

I wish those were my nails! I found a pic online ;)

Ah damn. I seriously can't master the art of painting my nails, and it doesn't help that the last bottle I bought is from that vegan brand. It chips off so easily.
I just saw my friend a couple of days ago who spent the year in Spain, and her skin looked fantastic. She told me she's using Murad--anyone else ever tried that?

I'm actually pretty good at it but it took a lot of practice!

I just put on Essie Turquoise & Caicos (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mariemay/5955882508/) Love it, wish it didn't take so many coats to make it opaque though.

But did you find a cosmetic bag?

I did, I did thanks to a kindly FSUer here! :) It's on its way from Target. https://www.target.com/Contents-Pretty-Pink-Bag-Collection/dp/B003UNQL1G/ref=sc_qi_collection_item

I got the solid pink that's up front and the 5th item on the scroll down. It seems it's no longer available but I got mine a few days ago so should be arriving soon.

Habs, Sparrow Me The Drama is a very pretty pink.

Speaking of nails, has anyone tried Perfect Formula's gel nail treatment? It apparently comes in a lovely sheer pink, and is amazing. It's $30, but I'd pay it if I could find it without huge shipping fees.

Veronika, do you have access to Avon? Because I"m in love with their new Super Shock mascara, and would love your two cents. I use it with my Lancome Cils Booster, and it's incredible. Like Buxom Lash, it has the comb-like bristles that leave my lashes relatively clump free. And it's usually no more than $7 Cdn (so, probably $2 US, because we're screwed up here like that).

:cheer2: :glamor: :cheer2: How awesome!

I'm sure your Doc knows this, but make sure it's done with the proper amount of lead-time before the wedding, as well as using as little botox as possible to avoid any risk of the perma-freeze look :scream:. You're so young and so attractive I would be :fragile: :wuzrobbed if anything happened that might could potentially detract from your beautiful face :) .

:encore:  You're way too damn sweet!

I asked him about it settling before the wedding (aren't you proud?) and he said it would be much less used, I think, or something about it not being enough to screw with me too much.

Go Andora!

I thought of you immediately after the word "Botox" escaped into the air. :P ;)

My mother f r e a k e d when I told her about it. But she also told me to stop taking vitamin D when I told her I was tired a lot, because a friend complained she had sore legs and avoiding it helped. If I do this, I'll have had plastic surgery and botox before I'm 30. :o Talk about things I never thought I'd say.

Still need a really good eye cream that helps with bagginess/circles/fine lines. Everything I have has stopped working, and I'm to the point where they're WORSE when I get 8 hours of sleep. Grrrrr.

LOL! I hope you are happy with the results. As to under eye circles--I've searched far and wide and there's little I found that's effective other than an amazing concealer. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004AYZ9E4/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B002LDWPZM&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=04WSC5Y8DY3YSBHS70FD)

Let me put it this way: there ain't nothin' your skin can dish up in terms of a blemish, redness, hyperpigmentation or under eye circles that this baby can't cover up. The best ever. Their brush sucks so I use a cosmetic wedge thingy to apply.

Third degree time (to hopefully help find a good recommendation or solution)…..

If you had to choose one of the three, which is your biggest concern? I realize that all of them are, but are the circles more prominent than the other two? Is the bagginess 24/7 or just in the morning or at night? How prominent are the fine lines (are they in the beginning stages, or do they seem as though they are deepening or increasing in number)?

Is your skin normal, oily, or dry?

- What products/treatments have you tried?
- Which ones had no effect or made things worse?
- Of the ones that worked, how successful were they?
- How long did the ones that had an improved effect work?
