Victoria's Secret is putting their Secret Garden bath and body collection on clearance on the website and in stores (I think they are redoing the packaging.)

Oye, there goes my zero balance that's been zero for a looooong time now. I really should accumulate more reward points so....

A friend just invited me to a Laura Mercier event at Sephora this coming weekend where her makeup artists will be offering tips and doing makeovers. I've never used any of Mercier's products but it should be fun. :)

 Sans moi?! :drama:
Her tinted moisturizer (also available in the oil-free version) is FAB apparently also the loose translucent powder and also the Secret Camouflage concealer (for blemishes, not undereye area). My heart is with you!

If you can make it to the DC area by Saturday you are of course invited. ;)

Thanks for the tips, I'll check out the website before I go!

Go for it! :) It's a good deal and if you buy extras, they make good gifts for the women in your life.

I caved into acid colors. Bought a lime green eyeliner and a bright orange nail polish. That's Peachy (http://youvegotnail.blogspot.com/2010/03/gosh-peachy.html) from Gosh and it's VERY into the orange side of peach but at least it doesn't have that white undertone which I dislike as it makes bright colors looking too fluo for me.

I like that Peachy! I am well prepared: I have Don't Be Koi With Me (http://media.powerapple.com/uploadimages/1178469260_0867.jpg) by OPI for my orange, although it's not acid/neon orange but a pleasant, milder one.

See that's what I was looking for actually, something like a peachy sorbet color...oh well, I can downgrade it to toe polish if I think it's too much

For me Don't Be Koi is strictly a toe, summer vacation polish. But then I work in a relatively conservative environment and so only wear neutrals or very dark reds on my fingernails.

I'm obsessed with neutral nail polishes of late, speaking of. I probably don't need another grey or taupe-y grey, ever. Especially since I took my tallons down a bit in length, and now they're perfect for a bright green or something really different.

I'm heaing into Sephora later to pick up Stila's smudge pot/all over colour in Kitten. Really great primer/cream eye shadow. I went looking for one I could slap on with eyeliner when I'm in a mad hurry, and this store didn't have the Bobbi Brown line. The problem is I had my makeup done there a couple of weeks ago (VIB offer) before an event for my brother's wedding. It was AWFUL. :( I even explained to her as I sat down that it's VERY easy to make me look like Dee Snider with too much makeup (tragedy for me). I had to go home and fix it, and the eyelashes she put on fell off.

The problem is I believe she's a supervisor, and if I ever want a part-time job there (Waiting to hear on availability from work), I can't exactly be honest, can I? :P

Ooh, I'm loving orangey/red/coral this summer! I currently have an orange by Old Navy on my toes. My favorites this summer are China Glaze High Hopes (http://www.vampyvarnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/China-Glaze-High-Hopes.jpg) and Revlon Jelly (http://i956.photobucket.com/albums/ae48/midwestgrrl/IMG_1608.jpg).

Some lovely colors here! :)

Since I'm in the southern hemisphere, winter's coming and the dark blues, green and deep reds are in (at least for me, I'm not really feeling our local winter collections, so I'm sticking to my oldies)

And I finally made peace with Sally Hansen's Insta Dry top coat. In the summer it would just bubble up like it's no one's business. Now that my hands are permanentely cold, it's working like a charm.

I'm surprisingly liking matte polishes now. I used to hate them. Now I find black matte polish to be :swoon: and I'm applying matte top coats to almost everything I wear on at least the ring finger.

Went to Ulta today and bought myself China Glaze Jamaican Out (http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=VP12102#sku2157504) while my 6 year old chose Nicole by Opi Fresh Squeezed (http://www.nicolebyopi.com/products/fresh-squeezed).

My main question is, how do you get the nail polish on so smooth? Are those nails in those pictures real or acrylic? I refuse to use acrylics/gels because they just completely RUINED my nails when I was in college.

I'm getting into Essie's more playful colors and just did my toesies in Coat Azure (http://www.essie.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=365).
