:shuffle: Two hours at the mall today, and I spent $100ish on makeup (though wound up with more like $200!) and maybe $15 on clothes.

I also picked up the colourista pallette. :) I always, always wanted one of Sephora's huge holiday packages, but knew it was too hulking to leave the house, and there were enough colours I wouldn't use. This one is pretty fantastic, however, and the mini "to-go" kit is genius.

I was able to walk away from the Benefit Sugar Bomb blush, but I'm not sure I'll be able to next time.

Could any of you gorgeous people recommend a good body oil?
I use a body moisturizer and notice that a good body oil seals it in and makes the skin glow.

I don't want one that's strongly scented and if it has to be scented, I prefer vanilla/oriental scents that wouldn't compete with my perfume.

Also, I don't want a lot of "bad" ingredients like EDTA and parabens. Ideas? Thanks! :)

I admit I was snobish about CG but their Lip Perfection in Fairytale is so good.

On being snobbish: sometimes it's a mistake. A friend gave me Chanel's Allegoria nail polish which is virtually identical in look to Essie's It's In The Bag.

The difference is that Allegoria chips in 2 days whereas It's In The Bag stays on unblemished for a week or more. Also, Allegoria is super streaky even after 2 coats whereas It's In The Bag is smooth.

And of course the price: IITB is about $4 whereas Allegoria is $25. Someone needs to kick Chanel in the a$$. I am just happy I didn't pay for mine.

I'm flagellating myself, never will I be snobbish :drama: at least when it comes to make up. I tried 3 times to remove the stain it left on my lips and the morning after it was still there:eek: And mind you, it leaves a perfect stain, not the usual contoured shite other lipsticks, even expensive ones, tend to leave.:kickass:

Essie's Sand Tropez (http://www.essie.com/shop/sand-tropez-p-366.html) is really nice neutral.

I'm looking at you, IceAlisa.

It's amazing how many shades of beige and cream are out there. Sigh. I have my eye on Essie Marshmallow but St. Tropez looks nice too.

Sand Tropez goes on easier than Marshmallow. I find that the white/barely pinks of Essie don't go on very easily. Like Ballet Slippers. I adore that color but I can never get an even coat with it.

Try It's In The Bag (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i7DLFM_mZmU/S7e-3nCPFXI/AAAAAAAAAVw/STFT77hGRlg/s1600/IMG00630.JPG) by Essie. Goes on smooth, stays put for a while.

I also have Topless and Barefoot which I like.
