:wuzrobbed Loved him. Didn't even know he was sick, apparently he died of pneumonia. A true Canadian institution, he will me missed. :(

ETA: Nielsen, not Nielson, oops. Maybe an admin could fix the title?

He was in one of the best early scifi movies too, Forbidden Planet. RIP Leslie.

He was on almost every great TV show in the 60s and 70s.

...and don't call me Shirley....

:( RIP, Mr. Nielsen.

Very sad. Files from Police Squad had some of the funniest scenes I've seen in it. R.I.P. Mr Neilson.

I will also always remember him from his role on Golden Girls even though many more probably remember his more comedic movie roles. RIP

 You post is the perfect tribute to Mr. Nielsen!

Airplane is one of my top 5 favourite movies. Just seeing his face made me smile.

RIP - I never knew he was Canadian.

I never knew that either. Canada sure does produce some great comedians.
R.I.P.

Who can forget his classic lines from "Airplane"?

"...Have you ever seen a grown man naked?"

"...Do you like to watch gladiator films?"

RIP.
