Thank you. So glad the three tours (Japan/USA/ Canada) are NOT overlapping this year!

Indeed. It means Kurt Browning's skating in all three tours this year =).

Kurt Browning's tweet about 6 hrs ago "Sitting beside Buttle waiting for our flight to Japan."

And Todd Eldredge posted on his facebook page early this am " Sitting in the airport about to begin my long travel day to Japan for some Stars on Ice shows. Love skating for the Japanese fans and the sushi too!!! Hoping to get in a round of golf while we're there as well :)"

Japanese fans are very lucky!! Hope to hear reports or better yet see videos of the performances!!

I'm thinking that having to replace a house might mean a need for more touring? If that is true, I'm still very sorry for the loss of his home, but very glad that we fans get to see more of him! :)

I just noticed that Kyoko Ina has been added to the cast of Stars on Ice Japan. Interesting.

Also, Yuzuru Hanyu will be skating in the Osaka shows, while Kanako Murakami will be skating in the Tokyo shows.

And I was sent this link to what looks like a SOI Japan preview show - lots of great footage of past tours, even if I can't understand what they're saying.

(I think I'm hearing the words "showman" in relation to Todd Eldredge and "sexy" in relation to Miko Ando??)

I agree. I didn't have a plan to go see it, but the video does make me want to buy a ticket and attend now. Fantastic video!
Yes, their site says it will be aired on January 16 from 7:54 pm.

Kyoko Ina? That IS interesting...would she be skating alone?? I know she just did Battle of The Blades, but I thought she was coaching now. I read an article on icenetwork in which John Zimmerman said he and Kyoko were in talks with SOI to maybe do a few week-end shows...I was so hoping that they would be taking S/P's place on the U.S. tour for the dates S/P are not doing...but no announcement has been made yet.

She was an accomplished singles competitor (4th in US Ladies; and also competed for JPN when younger) prior to becoming a pair skater.
