La Liga has blocked CR's goal.
Messi's is impossible. A left footed swerving shot from the left side of goal catching right upper V is a ridiculous shot to attempt. Messi is one of the very, very few that can score on a free kick like that. The keeper never moved & his team mates were not ready for it. He seemed to catch everyone napping.

Hokey Smokes....The USMNT just beat Italy in Genoa 1-0. Sure, it was a friendly, but that is a gigantic win for Klinsi and the boys. First time the USMNT has EVER beaten Italy, and the first time Italy has lost in Genoa in over 100 yrs! A historic win.
Congrats to the USMNT! Wonderful result, in oher friendlies England lost to the Dutch, Jamaica beat New Zealand, and Australia beat Saudi Arabia.

Plus, Dempsey's goal off of a feed from Altidore was excellent and the 2nd half defending by the USA was fabulous. To make the day even better Colombia beat Mexico 2-0 in front of 51,615 at Sun Life Stadium, "The Stadium of Many Names", in Miami. USA wins. Mexico loses. Perfect...:biggrinbo

Boas' exit was predictable. The man never really did the job. It will be interesting to see who the next manager will be.
