Jose Mourinho and four players are facing possible suspentions for deliberate red cards during this week's CL matches. The sending offs means that Alonso and Ramos will serve suspentions during their final groups stage match rather than risking being suspended during the more important knock out round match.

And there seems to be at least one journalist who thinks like I do and says a Qatar WC is just silly and rediculous.

Barca plays Real today in Spain. Should be a great match to watch and we are now only two days away from knowing who will host the 2018 and 2022 WCs. England will have both PM Cameron and Prince William lobbying the delegates on England's behave. It is hard to see anyone beating them. Hope I at least get to see the US win 2022. I will be :wuzrobbed if they do not. :(

OUCH!!!!!! Barce leads Real 4-0! YAY Barca! :cheer:

Another corruption claim made against FIFA. This time by Transparency International but these new accusations are unlikely to postpone the vote.

As much as i like Spain, i hope they don't get 2018 world cup considering the economic condition in both Portugal and Spain.

I watched this match on GOLTV from start to finish. A shocker, but fun to watch. Barca showed how the sport should be played. An amazing exhibition of the game.

The political big wigs are showing up enforce in Zurich to promote their respective countries bids but Russia will be without it's PM Putin. For whatever reason he has indicated he will not go to Zurich which has bolstered England's bid. Bill Clinton on the other hand is already their in Switzerland to help bolster the US bid. FIFA meanwhile has said it will take no further action against the officials who were accused of taking bribes. The IOC however will be investigating Mr Hayatou because he is also a member of that organisation. The other accused are: Ricardo Teixeira and Nicolas Leoz. And the Italian Serie A is going on a two day strike over contracts. LOL

The Russian PL has concluded and Zenit is the new national champions followed by CSKA in 2nd and Rubin in 3rd. Speaking of the Russians their PM has announced that he will not be attending the big vote tomorrow in Zurich which may give England a boost. Still hope the Russians win and the US gets 2022. Never mind if the US gets 2022 I will need a scooter by then. hehehehe

YIKES! Man U lost 4-0 to West Ham! :yikes:

12-01-2010, 04:37 PM
Methinks United didn't take this match too seriously...The Hammers are in last place on the table and it wasn't a league match either. But US Men's National team member Jonathan Spector's move to midfield evidently paid off with the two goals he scored. Good for him.

Well the presentations for the 2022 WC is finished and me thinks the US still has a great chance. As for 2018 with Russia all but throwing in the towel, the English looks like a lock for that competition especially with the debt faced by Spain and Portugal. We will all have to wait until tomorrow to find out what happens.

Both Russia and England have been in competition for who will score most self goals before the world cup announcement. England seems to leading in this one at least with latest scored another at Birmingham

Birmingham riots could ruin England World Cup 2018 bid (http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/premiership/birmingham-riots-could-ruin-england-world-cup-2018-bid-15019326.html#ixzz16vtZwOcg).
