Birks just released the information about the pendant design by Joannie! You can find more imformation, along with a picture of the pendant on Joannie's site:

The pendant and chain is retailing for 150$ and part of the proceeds will go to the "iheartmom" campaign which benefits the University of Ottawa Heart Institute!

No. Birks is Canadian and did the 2010 gift/jewellery items.

I actually get a little teary-eyed whenever I see more evidence of what a stunning and accomplished young woman Joannie has become. She is truly an incredible human being and I'm sure her family's hearts must be so blessed by her strength and grace. I almost feel like collectively, there are many posters in the 40+ group who have "emotionally adopted" her as their daughter!

Yeah, that shot was a little over airbrushed. She looks a bit plastic. She's a pretty girl, just leave the pic alone!

I love Joannie. So beautiful and so classy. I think I'm going to buy my mom the pendant for the holidays.

Photoshop at its best - she looks like a porcelain doll!!! So glad that Joannie's capitalizing on her exposure from the Olympics because I'm seeing her everywhere on ads, including Lasik MD. I didn't know that Joannie had Lasik surgery back in 2005.

She looks really pretty, but the pendant is nothing to write home about unless you are totally into the 80's.. :yawn:
