I posted a reply to a posting in the K&C thread on NHK - but had to copy the link here to show the rest of you -

When Rachael bobbed her hair, she didn't realize that she'd look like Sally of Peanuts while skating!

Almost nobody looks good mid-jump, and before the advent of digital imaging and the websites that post a bajillion pictures, a photo editor would have culled most of these out.

I love jumping pictures. I always feel bad looking at them, though, just because I'm sure the skater must be somewhat embarrassed they're all over the web.

During the Olympics a family member made Jeremy mid jump her profile picture. Unfortunately, she's not a skating fan, so.... :shuffle:
