Allezfred has put up the Eurovision Poll Info thread (http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=77995)! :cheer:

I'd like to be Croatia, pretty please. ;)

Done. ;)

I've also put down some people provisionally, even though I haven't heard whether they are able to do it this year or not. :shuffle:

Just started to listen to the songs finally. Here's the first part of my review:

Semi 1:

1. Poland - "Jestem" - Magdalena Tul

Immediate thoughts: Slutty Poles! :cheer2:

2. Norway - "Haba Haba" - Stella Mwangi

Immediate Thoughts: Ethnobooty shaker partly in Swahili. Nobody can say Norway is playing it safe. Rather worryingly I was tapping my toes along.

3. Albania - "Feel The Passion" - Aurela Gace

Immediate Thoughts: Very :drama: although I'm a little scared. Not totally feeling the passion. :(

4. Armenia - "Boom Boom" - Emmy

Immediate Thoughts: Haba Haba. Boom Boom. Chaka Chaka. Eurovision is known for its deep lyrics.

5. Turkey - "Live It Up" - Yuksek Sadakat

Immediate Thoughts: Disappointed that it's not being sung by Sad Kats. :( Kind of reminds me of Status Quo for some reason. Maybe it's the bad hair.

6. Serbia - "Caroban" - Nina

Immediate Thoughts: Serbian Duffy.

7. Russia - "Get You" - Alex Sparrow

Immediate Thoughts: :grope:

8. Switzerland - "In Love For A While" - Anna Rossinelli

Immediate Thoughts: Sounds like a song I heard on a TV ad and I can't put my finger on it.

9. Georgia - "One More Day" - Eldrine

Immediate Thoughts: Georgia goes Riot Grrrrrrl

More tomorrow.

7. Russia - "Get You" - Alex Sparrow

Immediate Thoughts: :grope:

I second your :grope: - I've been waiting to see Vorobyov in Eurovision since he was first in the Russian selection competition in 2008. :drama:

And thanks for organizing the poll, as always! :cheer2: Looking forward to it.

I was just going to ask to be any country and I don't care which one, but based on the other thread it looks like I'm pencilled in for Greece again. Yay, but if anyone else wanted Greec (which is unlikely given their song this year :shuffle: ) then any available country is fine. Thanks, Allezfred

Can I take Romania? It looks as if it's not taken yet.

Yes.

Garden Kitty, the plus side is that you won't have to listen to the Greek song. ;)
