Well, this is what exactly comes into my mind when thinking of Norway!
You were maybe thinking of something more along these lines?

The reactions are very divided. Same as when the presenters for the international final were announced last year.

Finland: "Da da dam (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFRAVSwoDkk) by Paradise OskarAbsolutely dreadful. Sounds like some angst driven teenager down in the parents basement trying hard to write something “significant."

Norway: "Haba Haba" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0XAuaYGhHY) by Stella MwangiCan we bring to justice whoever told her she could sing? :scream:

Switzerland: "In Love For A While" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ME50NDQTI_U) by Anna RossinelliQuite likeable, even with the quote from some song I can’t quite identify.

Belgium: "With Love Baby" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOMX2F2Kmto) by Witloof BayNot bad for Manhattan Transfer wannabes.

I really hope that doesn't win tonight. When that song is translated to English it'll send you all into sugar shock. Take her voice away and it's a very weak and lame song and the wrong song choice for her to make a second attempt with, could all end in tears the way it did with Selma. I guess the only thing she has over Selma is a better draw in the semi's but I'd prefer her second attempt at Eurovision be done with a more interesting song.

I HOPE they vote Magni through tonight. I don't think any of the songs are winners but it's a better song than Yohanna has and I'd like to see him give it a shot.

Or send the Volcano song along, will fit in with Jedward

I listened to Magni and the winning song and I still think Johanna should have won :P. maybe it's better for me not to understand the lyrics but I assume it's sugarloaded. but at least I was able to hum the melody after one listening only :).

Finland will be represented by Paradise Oskar with the song Da Da Dam (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmEa6rkItGY). :)

ummm...no!

It's "Haba Haba" - Stella Mwangi (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0XAuaYGhHY) for Norway.

:eek::rofl::cheer:

Belgium and Malta have also chosen tonight.

Belgium - "With Love Baby" - Witloof Bay (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOMX2F2Kmto)

Malta - "One Life" - Glen Vella (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynN4JPIZiAw)

this guy from Malta must've drawn too much inspiration form last year's Albanian song...
as for Belgium, it returns to sending crap after Tom Dice's great song...pity!

btw, I still can't believe 'Lipstick' was chosen:rofl:. I so hope it won't follow Dustin's trail!

I find Finland singer kind of cute. The Norwegian song would be even better if they just constantly repeated the refrain :nopryde:.

It was a nice gesture of Sjonni Brink´s friends to defend his song, I guess marbri is right that there was a sentimental vote for them, but I can understand it.

Malta guy seems quite young. I agree with Shah that Belgium doesn´t look with a lot of chances.

I wasn´t able to really connect with Spanish Semifinals. I certainly enjoy listening Eurovision classic songs, but I would have preferred to listen the candidates singing the songs that were selected for the final.

Anyway these are the three finalist:

Selected by phone voting: Lucia Pérez (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZB6AFrx0pT4&feature=channel) singing "Boom-bang-a-bang". I couldn´t stop thinking why she was singing on her bed clothes

Selected by the Jury: Auryn (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_supznzk70&feature=channel) singing "Eres tú" :drama:

Selected by the Jury: Melissa (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puvAbE1zliw) singing Dana International ´s  "Diva", I like so much this song.

Not very pleased with all this karaoke idea and the hidden real songs to choose, but the stage and organization were the best in years.

BTW my LOL moment of the night was Gio (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdUodMAsoSc&feature=channel) singing Beth´s "Dime"

Well, Beth consecrated the term SPainful in my Eurovision dictionary :P

She had a good song but (as she sadly used to do sometimes) she really had an all over the place weak vocal performance.

MikiAndoFan of the three finalist Melissa is also my favourite :)

It's not too bad if you focus on the backing dancers. :grope:
