Now you have to tell us whether or not you bitch slapped your mom or not. Not that I'm advocating this, you understand, but if you did, I'd understand. :P

What the hell is chartreuse? I have no clue. And I'm gay. :D

I had to click the picture links to find out. I honestly thought it would be some fiery orange-pink color but I was wrong!

I guess your point is proven already, but you can add me to the "Well, of course I knew that" list. I was also born quite some time after Peggy's competitive days.

I knew it was chartreuse too. She looked gorgeous.

Chartreuse! Peggy's mom chose it because the Olympics were in France and the color is named for the French city. (I knew that without reading the thread)

Do I win anything? LOL

Eep, so I was wrong about the city, it's the liqeuer... my mom would've remember that story better than I as I wasn't born yet :o

I knew.

I didn't know, but I'm not from the right generation nor from the right country. ;)

I would NEVER do anything harmful to my mother!

I did, however, "nyah nyah I was right and you were wrong" her. I mean, that didn't seem unreasonable! :saint:

Glad we were all able to help.

And just proves that you should never ever argue with FSUers.

I can't believe Peggy's mom didn't make the trivia list! (And I'm just soooo glad to know that it aids in the relief of flatulent cows.)

For Ziggy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chartreuse_(color))

Do you feel more gay now? Don't want to cause any unnecessary identity crisis. :)

I think you are lucky you can have a skating argument with your mum. My mum wouldn't know anything about it.

Maybe we need to start a Ziggy support group for his lack of knowledge about Chartreuse.

Count me in as knowing! I remember seeing it on Lifetime Intimate Portraits. :)

I'm probably alone in thinking that the colour and the dress were both awful. :slinkaway
