They're playing off each other very well, now that she's found her backbone. Good stuff.

Turns out there is a Russian version of House, MD. The same set up--a grouchy mean attending with 4 cottages and a medical director who even looks like Cuddy. Their Wilson is an STD specialist with jokes hereto pertaining.

Except a lot of plot revolves around alcohol and bribes. Yup, they do vodka shots out of plastic medicine cups.

I finally managed to watch the whole of this week's episode. I did like Martha more than I thought I would. It was a bit stranged that she grew a pair so quickly and stood up to House.

But Cuddy....I mean, SERIOUSLY, did she really think he'd changed? I love the idea of Huddy but she really cannot be so surprised by this latest development. :duh:
ETA: However, it's not like he's lying to her about still frequenting prostitutes, he's lying to her for the well-being of patients.

Same here. House loves Cuddy but he's always manipulating her. Now that they're lovers that's going to be intolerable for her.

He strikes me as the kind of guy who has a lot of facets to him that make him easier to have as a buddy than as a boyfriend/lover, and those facets tend to override the parts of him that would make him attractive as a mate.

Nope...I don't want them to break up. I love them. It's interesting territory for them to explore and how House reacts to having a real normal relationship.

I LOVE Masters! Please can Thirteen stay away forever and let her stay on?

On the other hand, I'm liking Wilson's girlfriend less and less. Adult dumps her issues on precocious little sick child. Spare me.

I LOVE Masters! Please can Thirteen stay away forever and let her stay on?Well, she's on for at least 11 more episodes and when asked if she's going to do more she answered, "I'm still not sure about anything," Tamblyn says. "I'm kind of enjoying where I'm at right now. I know that's the vaguest answer. I'm leaning towards probably not, but we'll see."

With such a positive response from fans of the show, maybe she and the producers will decide to make her a permanent cast member.

That many? I didn't know. That's good to hear. I really hope she stays.

I like Masters too and I think Amber Tamblyn is a great actress. But I found it unbelievable that she would come up with the ultimate answer and House would trust her enough to totally expose himself to what he had thought was a deadly disease. I just thought that part was unbelievable. The rest of the episode was good! I thought Wilson had the best line of the show: "Say nothing. To no one. About anything. Including me."

Well... let's just say I have experience dealing with someone (not romantically, thankfully!) who has very strong leanings towards being a pathological liar. He had a ready story for any given situation. And if you try to call him out on anything, he'd turn things around and make you look like the delusional one.

Having said that, I can tell, from the last scene of them together last night, she's starting to get fed up with him playing fast and loose with the truth.

It is pretty hard to believe, but we did learn in the previous episode that she has a gigantic brain and House (grudgingly) respects that. If anything could get him to trust someone that much, it would be that kind of intelligence.

The DVR cut off when House went into Cuddy's office at the end. What happened there?

But I also think that House is ultra-intelligent enough that when he gets an off-the-wall answer, he's capable of processing it and validating it. It's not like that was the only idea the cottages came up with and he just went for it.
