He tried calling everybody. Wilson was asleep, Taub and Foreman were at the strip club, and Chase was helping 13 with her friend, POTW. Cuddy was the last person he tried to contact. Ironically, when Chase and 13 were driving the POTW to the hospital, they go through an intersection, and there's Cuddy waiting for the red light with House in the back seat. And then, they call House, who is waiting to go into surgery, to get advice on their patient.

Season finale is next week.

Who or what is POTW?

HL should get a Emmy nom for last week performance. He was so convincing with the surgery. The show is going downhill, but havng HL on my screen is totally worth it. He is such an amazingly talented man <3

I'll be sorry to see Lisa Edelstein leave the show. I like her character. However, I also think that her leaving could invigorate the show if the writers play their cards right. No other chief of staff is going to put up with House's shenanigans the way she did. Watching House and the new chief-of-staff get to know one another could make for some very entertaining episodes.

What do you want to bet it'll be Thirteen? After all, we know she's perfect and loved by all and can do anything.

13 ??? Come on !! She's a disaster as a character and as an actress !!

We know that, but the writers don't.

I don't see 13 becoming the new chief of staff, she doesn't really have the experience...I bet it'll be a man.

Ooh! I just had a thought. You don't suppose the writers would make Wilson the acting chief of staff do you? Unlike 13 he does have the experience. He's been head of a department at Princeton-Plainsboro for years, is highly respected in his field, etc. As chief-of-staff Wilson would have to put the hospital's interests ahead of his friendship with House. This could make for some interesting storylines.
