How many Shatritsa FDs Igor and Marina made before? I know about 2 - for B-A in 2005 and Karam-McGarth. I thought this music Tanith will save for Charlie :D
How do you think - why skaters didnt bring there music ideas for Igor?

Despite Orser?s announcement of the split, Kim was at their Toronto skating club Tuesday afternoon working on her new long program with choreographer David Wilson.

"It is a fantastic program, by far the best one I?ve seen," Orser said. "It is well beyond even her (Olympic program) Concerto in F. It?s a complete departure."

The routine is set to a compilation of Korean music, featuring the famous folk song "Arirang", Orser revealed. Kim's short program will be choreographed by Canadian ice dancer Shae-Lynn Bourne on Labour Day weekend.

Well, considering Tanith isn't their coach she is in no position to 'save' any music for them.

Arirang! I can't wait for this program. I wanted her to skate to this last season (I thought it would've made a great exhibition). Here's a Yu-Na montage to Arirang: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBen5RmJL1g.

How will they do a waltz to two pieces that are in 4/4 or 2/4 time??? Inquiring minds want to know (but I realize I'll probably have to wait until October).

Isn't "At Last" in 6/8 time rather than 2/4 time once the vocals start? At least, it may technically be written in 2/4 time, but it's played as if it's in 6/8 time. If you listen to the background instruments, they are definitely playing six beats per measure. Alternatively, it could be thought of as having two major beats per measure, with triplets for every beat, so the effect is equivalent to two measures of 3/4 time - which is why it will work very well as a waltz.

great1 2 new programs and no green limon dress :D I hope she take her skating to another level this season. I'm not a Big fan of Evita (most bc i really don't like the real Evita) but I think she can do a gret job.

Goody! Has anyone skated to Evita since Suguri in SLC?
I hope this sp will be different from her usual jazzy numbers though.
