There's a little bit of Daisuke's mambo here:

And at least a little part of it, for me, sounds like "Historia de un amor" (2:47)

Another one - http://news.hbc.jp/08211902.html
Click '300kbps' to watch the movie.

The music sounds like Invierno Porteño when he jumps a quad toe, but the finish sounds different. Maybe Primavera Portena?

BTW great to see Daisuke's quad toe executed in the programme, to the music - though it looks slightly underrotated. :)

Zoé Blanc and Pierre-Loup Bouquet's ISU biography (http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00008189.htm) has been updated :

SD
Romantic Waltz (maybe not its name) by Karl Jenkins
Quickstep (actually that's Bei Mir Bis Tu Shon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVZXxFFsZTQ) by the Puppini Sisters)

FD
Original Soundtrack of a franco-danish animation film L'Enfant Qui Voulait Etre Un Ours (The Boy Who Wanted To Be A Bear) by Bruno Coulais (wheeee, I luv Coulais)

Here is the Main theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfqNuD2i5To) of the movie. I always wanted Coulais' Himalaya l'enfance d'un chef or Le peuple migrateur to be put on ice but this one is great too.

I found this video of Daisuke training: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcCrZu4ptXA. His SP music is Elene Gedevanishvili's LP music from 2008/2009, which I'm not crazy for. I'm a bit a disappointed with Daisuke's choices this season. He used a tango last season and he's using another one this season.

Don't worry i'm sure his tango will be better than Elene's! At least we can always expect a fantastic, godly step sequence from him, the highlight of all his programs ;)

I secretely kind of wished that B/B kept their Roisin murphy FD from last year-(one of the few programs i actually enjoyed last yr from lower ranked teams) but it's understandable why they chose a softer piece given their speed is not very good. Who is coaching this team?

It's his mambo SP music that was used by Elene!

:D

I'm sure he can pull off his tango LP, but it's just too many tangos!

I'd love them to keep Amon Tobin/Roisin Murphy fd, but the new one already seems quite voidy.
as for the coach, her name is Karine Arribert Narce. quoting allezfred, they are coached by (if I remember correctly the nickname) "violet blob" :P.

I am also disappointed that Dai is doing another tango, not to mention doing a pseudo-Mambo SP. IMO he's one of the few competitive men's singles skater right now who can pull off a classical program, so why doesn't he do one to set himself apart from other top men especially in the SP? Dai must really like the tango, but I thought he said he wanted to try different styles because he doesn't know how long he'll keep skating? It seems like he's doing the safe thing i.e. something within his comfort zone.

Not that I am a music expert, but I think there is a huge difference between contemporary / popular music-inspired tango Daisuke used for his SP in 09/10 season, and Piazzolla's Invierno Porteño. (OK, it depends on whose version he chooses, but the latter can be almost classical.)

The SP is said to be a Latin medley - combination of mambo, tango and Latin jazz - OK, perhaps similar to what Elene used a few years back, but they are such different skaters, and I am sure the interpretation will be very different. Besides, I cannot recall Daisuke ever skated something so obviously danceable, can you? Maybe Hip Hop swan, but that's something else all together. A glimpse of super fast and complicated footwork alone makes my heart beat fast. :)

Anyway, we know only a few seconds of each programmes, it's too early to be disappointed, I believe.

Furthermore, maybe because I always enjoyed watching CD, I am personally quite excited to see how different skaters interpret tango in different ways. Actually, Daisuke himself acknowledges the challenge of how to present two Latin programmes differently.

Sarah Meier skated this Amelie program yesterday in Switzerland... could it be her new SP?

According to this article (http://goldenskate.com/articles/2010/082210.shtml) from Golden Skate, Michal Brezina's SP music is Japanese music and he's keeping his LP from last season.

:)
