The annual skating extravaganza has been staged the past decade in cities across Canada.

I have a hard time believing that Marie-France and Patrice will be there, just due to the fact they've announced they're expecting. That news is in the Battle of the Blades thread.

I'm just sayin... :)

I think the baby is actually due sometime in December so it's very unlikely they will be skating lol!

All three dates are listed on his website as one of his upcomming shows, unless something has changed. :D

That's it? Just 3 cities in the interior of BC? What about the rest of us?

I googled a bit, and it appears that they chose BC because it was the home province of the 2010 Olympics.

Most of the cast are doing Christmas shows in Ontario too:

Celebration on Ice is back for six shows this December. The all new show choreographed by Brian Orser, will feature four-time World Champion Kurt Browning, Olympic Gold Medalists Jamie Sale and David Pelletier, World Champion and Olympic Bronze Medalist Jeffrey Buttle, Olympic Bronze Medalist Joannie Rochette, Canadian Champion and Olympian Cynthia Phaneuf. Also appearing with incredible on-ice acrobatic performances are Violetta Afanasieva and Pete Dack as well as local performers.
Thunder Bay – December 16
Sault St Marie – December 17
Sudbury – December 18
Owen Sound – December 19
Newmarket – December 20
Sherbrooke – December 21

Well, HFOI used to only be a one-off show. It's only in the last couple years that they've had 2-4 shows.

I only tracked the years Kurt was in it, but historically:
2002 - Kitchener, ON
2003 - Toronto, ON
2004 - Kelowna, BC
2005 - Victoria, BC
2006 - Prince George, BC
2008 - Halifax, NS and Oshawa, ON
2009 - Abbotsford, BC, Penticton, BC, Dawson's Creek, BC, Lethbridge, AB

So this year has only one less city than last year, and it's only sporadically gone to the larger cities.

Ashley Wagner tweeted the other day that she's in this show. Any FSUers attend, or will attend, who can share some impressions/highlights?

I heard Jeff skated to Glenn Gould and it was very moving.
