Awesome vaults from Legendre!

Apparently Paul Ruggeri did an arabian double layout on FX last rotation!

Has anyone ever been credited with that skill? I think some have tried it but it was usually given credit as a piked arabian double. That is one video I will have to remember to look up.

Nastia is wearing another hideous top. I'm starting to question that girl's fashion sense.

At least she looks better than yesterday...she was constantly adjusting that drape-y top!

Danell hits rings and finishes a great meet. :cheer2:

Legendre is a beast. :)

I knew it wouldn't happen, but I was hoping for Danell to win. He had a great meet at least. He just needs to get some of his start values up. Rings and Floor at least. Pommels is asking a lot considering only like .0000000000000000000000001% of the US men actually seem to do well there.

His high bar routine is hawt.

Isn't that Dos Santos II?

It was a really fun night. Brooks is sort of the Ryan Bradley of gymnastics. He seemed to be having a great time, and was constantly cheering and encouraging people to cheer for his teammates. Leyva and Horton have a nice friendly rivalry. Horton went over from where he was waiting to vault to congratulate Levya after rings, and Levya was quick to hug and congratulate Horton on his win.

What is the significance of the National Team in gymnastics? Is it sort of like envelope A funding in skating, or are the team members preferred in getting international assignments?

The National team members are the only ones who are up for international assignments. At least I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Gymnastics isn't just an individual sport like skating is.
