Oh, man, it's not quite costly.
Look at the List!

I won't pay $240 or whatever it is for decent seats, nor would I pay $40 for horrible seats where the skaters are ants. On top of that, Ticketmaster fees, parking at Staples Center, etc. It is quite expensive, all said and done, to get decent seats and then all the other fees on top of it.

Doesn't help I am not a big fan of Yu-na or Michelle, so there's no one I'd really like to see anyway. :shuffle:

You consider the $240 on the ice seats the only "decent" ones available? How many events do you go to? Plenty of people got great tickets for $80 which is still pricey but they are going to sell.

I wouldn't pay $80 either. It's way too pricey. I just don't think shows are really worth that. I think the most I've paid is $70 or so and that was for the free dance at 2009 Worlds, day of. For shows I've only paid about $40 max and that was day of because you get better seats for a reasonable amount of money (SOI, COI, and the Improv Ice thing in Anaheim last fall). I don't get why people would spend $80 on a skating show, that's all. I know if I had a family, we'd probably never go to these things. Too darned expensive.

People pay more for concert tickets where the performers don't even sing live. At least live skating means live skating, and I really miss seeing Michelle skate so the price is worth it to me. (Not for $260 though, yikes!) And for brainwashing my bf into liking skating too. :D

It's $12 and yes, Ticketmaster is eville.
There are usually three fees with every order: one per ticket, and two at the order level.

Well you don't have to pay the last fee at the order level if you're okay with them mailing your tickets to you. The extra fee for providing a printable version of your ticket is separate and depends on which option you choose.

But still, a $12.50 "convenience charge" per ticket along with the "order processing fee" is rather much. :o

If you can't afford to go, then don't go. The end.

$260 for front-row seats??? And here I was, thinking SOI was expensive! Not worth it IMO, even if they were able to get every superstar skater under one roof. Now, the VIP package is a bit more reasonably priced (but still not cheap, of course).

With all the Disson shows on, it would be kinda odd if this didn't get any US TV coverage, no?

I got center ice seats in the 15th row for the $88 price. That seems pretty reasonable to me.

If you can't afford to go, then don't go. The end.Awww, but isn't it so much more fun to argue pointlessly, whine endlessly, and pee in others' corn flakes? ;) :P

I'm looking at the seating chart. Are they only using 1/2 of the available seating in the arena?

I guess there would be a big stage and screen at a short barrier as they did in Korea.
