Hello everyone! here it his my not late report from the first day :D:

Great moments:

S/Z: They don't skate...they float in ice. They skated 2 amazing program. They just shined out there.

B/A: They look absolutely happy and confident. They have a huge charisma and they can interact so well with the audience. Firt number was really cute and the second was a beatiful and mature number. It makes me wonder that with an outside choreo they really could have been world champions...they just needed the rigth direction and none of their coaches were able to do that.

Kim: Amazing skating, charisma. Everybody liked her. She can skate to different styles and still do very well.
Michelle: Winter song! Beatiful. I miss her. And she is not chunky or fat, she is in an amazing shape.

Lambiel: He is crazy haha. Wonderful skating and super charismatic.
Johnny: Great skating too, off nigth...but still..he is great and fun.

Chan: Great!

group numbers: they were fun. Ladies number was really nice. Tanith shined and Wagner didn't look lost at all, she has a lot of potential.

other moments:

V/M: booooooooooring... I like they skating skills and everything but I tired of they romantic inocent numbers (and Tessa need some dresses with collors on it...I hate to see her in pastel colors most of time. It makes her look boring). Also i don't think they have all that charisma on shows.

Michele: No one..mehhh

Wagner: Such a huge oportunity for her been there, I'm sure she learned so much. She is young and can improve a lot on the "shows department".

Boys number: kind of strange...I don't know

Hi everyone! This was best show i ever saw!
Highlits.
Ashley Wagner - she was so fast. Love this girl :hat1:
Savchenko & Szolkowy : 'Nella Fantasiz'.
Stephane Lambiel
Virtue & Moir. This tango was fine, so much beautiful nuances. Greate dress

Tessa was the best dancer in finale and they show super-lift in the end
New ex simply beauty. And super-emotions.

Kwan "Winter" are super!

The worst - B-A Too much over-emotions from Tanith. But Ben look lovely. He could be much better with other patner.
And Johny Gaga dance. He was more emotional in first part, but was out in second act.

The rink must be really cold! Look at how much the skaters have bundled up:)
marbri, don't get me wrong, but I think Michelle looked really chunky in those photos, maybe that was why she drew attention. Yuna looks really good.

 she looks pretty slim to me

All the sudden dislike about him changed after watching this.
Such a veteran, pro. He's kind of show must skater. Ice show without him might not be show. What a skater. Kudos. Such a talent. Maybe too much talent made him weird. (joke) Such a personality. Happy to have a skater like him. Makes me look forward his future skating number cause of his talent.

Michelle looks as slim as ever. Remember - she never had the long lines, even at her very slimmest, which (IMO) was the 1998/99 season (Ariadne, World Pros win). Also, practically any woman skating beside Yu-Na would look chunky.

Michelle is a mesmomorph while YuNa is an ectomorph. Michelle is probably close to if not a lean as YuNa. It has to do with body type, IMO. I agree with you!

I sure wish this had been televised. It would have been SUCH A TREAT to see Kwan and Kim skate together. And to see Johnny and the others skate as well. They should sell the DVD for this.

I don't get this obsession about skater's weight. None of the skaters looked "chunky" or fat. They all looked fine.

Michelle seemed to be in good shape, though her first number seemed undertrained. I actually thought she had more charisma on the ice than Yu Na -- who remains my favorite ladies skater. I forgot to mention my mom's response on that point. At the end of the show, even though she thought Michelle was dogging her first routine, she said "Michelle schooled that other girl" in terms of performance.

I don't understand why people talk so much about Michelle weight. She don't compete anymore and still...she is looking fabulous. Same thing with Johnny, he is not looking fat at all, the problem is his tight costumes. people have diferent body types, what can they do?

What a great show! I went to both Sat and Sun shows, the energy level on Saturday's show was incredible. Say what you will about Yuna's ATS management, they sure know how to put together a fantastic show. David Wilson deserves a huge amount of kudos as well. Loved Yuna and Michelle of course.

I think some people are confusing slim with skinny, Michelle is slim but she's not skinny, girlfriend has some muscles! If people want to see skinny, they should go watch ballerinas from the Mariinsky Ballet, those are some skinny women.

Michelle has average proportions, so she can seem chunky if she gains muscle mass from over-training at the gym. If she loses weight her lines will seem longer, but who wants to see an emaciated skater on ice?

S/Z were out of this world. I didn't think they'd be good show skaters but they connected with the crowd very well. He's such a steady partner, they're a joy to watch.

There were some skaters whose performances left me cold. I expected to like V/ M a lot more but to me they lacked charisma, IMO they were bested by B/ A in that regard. Some other skaters I hope won't be invited back next year because they were blah at best.

I liked the BBoy Battle a lot, I thought the skaters' personality came through there as well. Johnny was introverted/ a bit awkward maybe, while easygoing Patrick just went with it and had fun, Stephane was such a ham but a genuine performer with a lot of heart. About Stephane: can that boy dance or what?! An older Korean lady sitting next to me was oohing and aahing over his dance moves. So funny, Stephane as swoon fodder for older Korean ladies.

I hope they keep their promise to do another show next year here in L.A. I'll definitely go to the shows again. Hopefully Yuna's English improves from living in L.A. and next years she'll be able to express herself more at the pre-show session with the audience.

Exactly. Michelle doesn't compete anymore, so what's the use of always being at her "fighting" weight? Her first number was really slow, but I attributed that to lack of practice than anything else. Speed has nothing to do with how much you weigh, it's about technique, which you lose if you don't practice.

Johnny looked very slim to me. He actually looks about the same size up top as my bf, and my bf's so thin you can see all of his ribs. Johnny's just bottom-heavy, that's how his weight is distributed, which is totally not his fault.

Hi All:

I posted these video links over at MKF, so I'm just copying part of my post over from there. It was great to see Michelle skating. She looks so fit and happy, and her skating is first-rate.

I shot these videos with my iphone, and they are in HD, so make sure your YouTube video settings are on HD for best viewing (full-screen recommended).
