Just got back from the 1st show. What a fantastic piece of entertainment that was. I got to watch it on the 1st row at the ice level and at a middle section. Man was it worth it. One skater after another, high quality stuff. Gotta love Staples center... lighting, sound system, etc I could see everyone on the ice tried to put their best effort and audience was impressed. Many standing o's and screaming. Everyone was great, but especially Yuna, Michelle, Shen & Zhao, Weir, and Lambiel rocked the house. I could tell what Michelle means to old time American figure skating fans. Not to forget Patrick Chan. I think he was at the best condition among skaters His jumps were huge and effortless. He did get a bit too excited and once ended up on his belly but other than that great. I really enjoyed dancers' performances as well. I didn't understand ice dancing much before and still don't, but that doesn't keep me from feeling their performance because they are so great. Last but not least Wagner. She could have been intimidated by all the medals in the show but she didn't at all., and she performed confidently and beautifully.

Seriously, if all skating shows were with this quality and caliber, there'd never be an empty seat in any show.

Skating's as good as ever and the audiance is as willing to attend as ever. It's the shows that lost their way. You start taking the fans for granted, very soon you'll lose even the most dedicated of them.

That was really good from Johnny- and I am not even that much of a fan. But here while staying faithful to tinkly piano music, there was much more. Bravo and thanks, this Johnny I could love.

I think I'll never go to sleep, with all high quality videos available so fast!

I think heartbroken is one of my fav skating programs. This version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8j81Xx9vS0 is still the best to me but Johnny was the highlight of the show for me tonight.

Don't think I can sleep either with all these videos up lol it's almost 3am here

I would love to see Johnny's "heart broken".
Those two YouTube links don't work for me.:(

I'm a fan of Johnny Weir but hugly dissapointed. He doesn't seem to be a skater anymore. but I think skating world need that kind of skater. That sassy, karisma etc etc
What I liked him from today's skating was his acting. His acting is so good. I don't like semi professional acting of a skater on ice. Some skaters are just not talented at acting. Other than karisma, acting... huge dissapointment. He just don't practice. Such a unprofessional skating. I know it's show not competition. you can pop jumps. but it was not just a show. It was mega ice show. His 09 festa on ice skating was hugely much better. sad. But again, skating world is good to have him. His poker face skating made people exciting. It made the show more fun. He is entertaining so hugely better cast than Lysacek. haha
from Last All That Skate summer in S.Korea, I was not impressed by Kwan's skating but today, She was the only skater made me cry. Surprisingly I saw her tear too. I can not thank her enough. It was such a momorable moment of my life. Made my time watching it worth. I never loved her before but I love her now. Maybe lot's of other people will fall in love with her when it's airing on nbc. Too bad Johnny didn't realize it. He could have made lot's of people fall in love with him if he practiced. haha (joke)
Didn't like Bulletproof before but so liked it today. Today was a brilliant job. All that skate summer was not brilliant job. It's so fun, modern program. Meditation is good too. Yuna also has 'it' factor like Kwan. I saw something Yuna have better than Kwan. Hope she work on it to beat Kwan. Is it too much ask? haha. There's something in these both ladies. Today she made me assure that she will win more gold in the future.
It was a great show, great time.
oh, I didn't like Chan's skating at Oly but pretty bit fell in love with his skating.
I think he has improved a bit after Oly. especially jumps. Now I like him.

Maybe it's what you tried to open it with? I tried to open it with my ipod and that didn't work, it only worked on my computer.

Wow. Michelle looks simply amazing. Wonderful show! Awesome videos up on You Tube! Thank you everyone!

I really enjoyed Patrick Chan's Viva La Vida, which surprised me. Very smooth. But: TOEPICK!!!!

I cringed at V&M's music selection. The whiny, grating "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" just ruins the Beatles song. :yikes:

Yuna's Bulletproof could be better but she looks so awkward and stiff, like when Sasha Cohen did the Rhianna number. It's nice to see ladiezzzz doing stuff other than GFBs though.

The number with the guys was so funny. They looked like they had no idea what they were supposed to be doing.

That's all I've watched so far. Thanks for the links!

p.s Are they making it to DVD? I am so buying it no matter how much it cost.
I want to watch it in DVD. want better thing than youtube.
Hope they sell full version, whole show(including every act) in dvd. cause SBS cut lot's of skatings.

MK looked great. Her 2A and 3T were smooth as buttuh. I'm not 100% crazy about Karen Kwan's choreography for Winter though: A little bit too busy with the arms movements and maybe a little bit recycled. I hope Michelle will consider working with Sarakawa or Lori again if she decides to do more shows in the future.

S&S were amazing in their second number.

I liked Chan's skate to La Vida, but I think the choreography to this song done by a guy during Audrey Weisiger's summer choreoraphy competition was much better and more original.

I was crazy to see B/A use somebody....my pc went crazy last nigth...I hope someone can post a video of.

I'm so glad that Wagner was in this show, she is so cute and a great skater. Also Ladies number was cute haha.

agree. This version its from that crazy musical, they did some cool adaptations, V/M could have used another song. Plus, I'm so tired of "you love me...I love you" type of program that they use most of the time...but i still love their lifts.

I also would by a DVD from this show :D It was really fun to watch all this videos. S/Z are so wonderful, Michell was ebatiful...also everybody else. I'm also crazy to see B/A use somebody (I love this song!).

V/M was kind of boring.

V/M was kind of boring.

Me too. V/M was boring. They were mehh. I think they were worst of all.
Can't not like ice dancing. It just doesn't seem to be great.
cause it's just dancing. It's dancing. literally.
effort, practice, athleticism etc is not same.
Dancing can impress me. But I saw they lacked lot's of aspects.
I can not agree with their Oly gold medal. All gold medal skaters are not same. True gold medal skaters tell
with their skating why they are Oly gold.
Their first music was really bad.
But as for Tanith/Ben I could see why they gave US long time Silver medal. They had level.

anyway, here is ATS LA Dream On FanCam - the part that was not broadcasted.

Such a big event.
