I'm bummed about the Saints, but at least the Seahawks didn't completely blow us away. All it took was two of our best receivers to be out for the rest of the post-season, have the game be in Seattle in an outdoor arena, and have our defense absolutely suck to the point where we gave away touchdowns to make it a close five-point game.

I don't really care about the rest of the playoffs, but I will be interested in the results if there's a bird/chicken/cockfight between the Seahawks and the Falcons. If it happens, then I'll definitely be rooting for Seattle.

I need a team to root for now...any suggestions?

With the Colts not making it either, it looks like it was a night of upsets.

What's with all the teams with birds as mascots? I'll consider Baltimore since the Ravens don't seem to have controversial players like The Eagles and the Steelers.

Edited because I've got Molly Hatchet blaring in my ears and it's apparently impaired my ability to think. :)

Also, disappointed the Colts lost, but if they couldn't get past the Jets, they weren't going to make it another round anyway.

I guess I'm rooting for Green Bay now, but I'll be happy as long as the Steelers and the Eagles don't make it to the Superbowl...which means the Steelers and the Eagles will make it to the Superbowl.

OMG, whatta game! Seattle fans are so great! Go 12th Man! The run was unbelievable, but Hasselback made some spectacular throws. The game was a real moment of redemption for him.

And Tom Hammond is an excellent football commentator. Just wanted to add that.

I just want someone, anyone, to beat New England. Even the Steelers.

They have Ray Lewis.

:fragile: my Colts are out! :wuzrobbed but they need to heal up more than they need a playoff run. or at least that's what I tell myself to make me feel better. Go Packers!

That's the rationale I'm using for my Saints as well. Yeah, we could've beaten the Seahawks if our defense played the way they usually did, but in our current, injured state, there's no way we would have survived the Falcons and the NFC championship game...as much as I hate to admit it.

Here's to a healthier season next time.
