^ Yep. Both of theBravo Runway knock-offs actually had some good ideas among the wreckage -- a good reverse-steal might be justified, and IMO a good thing to reinvigorate PR ... even if Tim stays 'til the series' end.

The Fashion Show had a better structure than PR's, and I liked the "fashion house" aspect of the team challenges. And even that other one, the one with those twin freaks as host and Meryl from RuPaul (can't recall the show's name) was onto something with the "expert" assistants and the longer time to complete challenges.

Speaking of The Fashion Show ...

Launch My Line? Something akin to, if not exactly, that.

Just wanted to mention that AOL has Tim's video up on their home page. Hopefully, it will get the exposure it deserves and Tim's generosity will reach a larger audience.

The biggest problem with Launch My Line was the hosts and the judging. They were like those twins from The Shining, if they got a sex change and went g-g-g-g-gay. And I still don't understand how that DJ dude who made expensive hooker wear made it to the final.

I liked the basic concept of the show. I thought the idea of each piece being part of an eventual collection and not having to make clothes made out of garbage or spark plugs. The collaboration between expert and idealist did occasionally produce some really wow clothes; I was just too scared at any minute the twins would say "come play with us, Danny."

The biggest problem with The Fashion Show was its low budget and even lower budget designers--I know at least two of them were perpetual PR rejects.

My biggest problem with Launch My Line was Meryl didn't win.

Does anyone know what Gunn's issues during the judging of the Jackie Kennedy challenge were? If I remember he liked Mondo's and Ivy's.

I think he said the concept of the challenge kept changing, so the designers were never really clear on what they were supposed to be doing. Apparently, it wasn't very well thought out. At all.

I thought that was the resort wear challenge, not Jackie O?

Indeed, she was the one with real style; and ability.
IMO, the twin designers were laughable.

They seemed like spoofs and caricatures of themselves and reality show hosts. Kind of like the hot mess that is Hair Battles on Oxygen. That "reality" show is so scripted down to the judging and confessionals, it's not even funny. I swear that's a reality show spoof, not a real show.

The coming attractions today indicate that someone was kicked off the show for cheating. Anyone have any bright ideas?

We've been discussing the previews over at BPR. Based on the crazy previews so far (remember the non-ambulances they teased for 3 shows?) we're guessing it's one of the returning "helpers" who gets thrown out. My bet's on Ivy.
