OMG, Casanova (http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/103941792/Getty-Images-Entertainment) these pants!

If that ain't telenovela :glamor:, I don't know what is.

My favorite collection is Mondo's. I hope like hell he's one of the final 3. Gretchen's was probably my least favorite and I can say that her personality has nothing to do with my opinion of it. BUTT UGLY and those hot pants were ridiculous.

FWIW, last year's finalists were presented last. YMMV.

I hope those hot pants do not have butt- crack zippers.

Comment on the collections (slideshow link enclosed) / no spoilers:
allempty, not a snark at all on you, but ... I'll take your word re: Valerie's being great "live", because this slideshow of all the collections (www.nytimes.com/packages/html/style/fashionweek/runway.html#/spring_2011_project_runway/slide_show/[/url) says that's a bunch of Katy Perry garishness ... and oy, those awful wigs. Love Andy's and Mondo's, which is being called "Ugly Betty on Runway". Of course, one photo of each look does not tell the whole story ... we miss much including movement ... but I'll rank 'em anyway: 1. Andy (classy, and definitely a collection) and Mondo. 3. Ivy (dammit, I liked it, though thankfully I expect her to be nowhere near top 3, and we won't see this). 4. April (weird collection in some ways, but I like it). 5. Christopher and Gretchen (both muted, but both very well made). 7. Valerie. 8. Michael C (cheap looking rip-offs of Christian Siriano). 9. Casanova (pants pants pants!). 10. Michael D (worst by a mile! I think he's out tonight anyway.)

Stop, Heidi time! Can't auf this!

Heidi did not get the memo that skin-tight satin capris are hot.

it's funny to hear Gretchen criticize other's aesthetics while dressed like some homeless mime, that neckerchief just makes me sad

my sorority life avatar has one kind of like it and i wont let her wear it

What are we missing re: Michael's C's construction skills? I mean, he's not Ping, for cripes sake. Mondo is irking me this episode. And I love Mondo.

to earn all of this haterade, he must use staples and a glue gun and they edit it out

Well even Michael C has admitted he is not a quick or good sewer during this episode, so I don't know that the criticism is entirely coming out of nowhere.

Poor Michael D looks set to be auffed this week. :shuffle:

We've seen staples and glue in the past. I don't think they'd edit it out.

to say that Ivydress is boring is an injustice to boredom

it looks like something you wear when you join a cult

Andy has to win it hands-down.

Gretchen's made the model look like she had a big fat belly, and she used the color pallette that NinaGarcia called her out on. Terrible.

Ivy's is just a Gretchen knock-off, and let's face it, who want's to knock-off Gretchen?

I love Mondo's.

Michael C's was alright. Reminded me of JLo.

I like Valerie's fabric choices.

Cassanova's was totally ladies who lunch.
