As for the romper that won the billboard challenge, I thought Mondo was completely robbed.

ITA. I loved Mondo's design that week. It was so much better than Gretchen's.

He and Andy are my favorites. I really hope Mondo doesn't go home next week, especially if whatever goes wrong ends up being Michael C's fault.

The way Ivy and Gretchen (and Andy) handle themselves on the show is appalling. I've never seen such a bad case of sour milk.

Ivy is worse than Gretchen, IMO. Ivy is the girl in high school who always tagged after the popular crowd - a hanger on and wannabe.

Ivy is so reminiscent of high school bullies it's tough to believe. I can't imagine for a second Michael C running after people to tell them not to vote for her design...
It wasn't good enough to require negative publicity anyway.

I also suspect that Michael was handed another confidence boost just so that the judges could :watch: and  at Ivy and Gretchen making fools of themselves. Win or no win though, I find it highly unpleasant that he has to go through this, on national tv, moreover.

From the preview it appears one of the :EVILLE: designers gets another public calling-out on the runway.
I don't think Mondo will be thrown out next week... my money is on one of the more transparent designers. One of the ones I can't remember the name of....

Obviously we are not seeing everything that is going on but I have to say that I have never seen such an extreme lack of self awareness. Gretchen and Ivy are either crazy or stupid either way they are probably now realizing the fruit of their behavior. I heard Gretchen has already pulled the editing card as defense but Uncle Nick has called bullshit. If you don't say that nasty shit then they can't edit it in.

I liked Ivy better when she was lying on the floor and not talking...

This. Dbell1, I'd rep you again if I could.

Ivy is worse in a certain way. However, I'm positive that Gretchen feeds Ivy to the point that she acts that nasty.

It seems like Casanova, Christopher, and Mondo are the only ones who aren't bitchy.

I think Casanova and Mondo are fabulous...I love eccentric personalities though.

I think Peach was kind of on the Wendy Pepper tip as far as design goes, but I did like her personality a lot.

I want to know who the teams are for next week's ep. From the preview it looks like:

Christopher/April
Michael D/Ivy
Michael C/Mondo

I'm guessing if Valerie gets her pick, she'll go with Casanova, which leaves Andy and Gretchen.

Peach had some interesting things to say in her interview with Tom & Lorenzo.

Blogging Project Runway podcast is here (http://bloggingprojectrunway.mypodcast.com/2010/09/BPR_Interview_with_Peach_Carr-324545.html) Basically, she says that what you see is how it went down and editing has very little to do with it.

eta, interesting to read about Michael C. If that's what he has in mind... fuggedaboudit. He's neither young enough or outrageous enough to get his own gig.

Thanks for the link, Aceon6. I didn't realize that all 16 designers were at the exhibition. I'll have to rewatch the episode.

What Peach had to say about the Ivy/Michael C controversy just confirmed what I suspected.
