Scary stuff there. The "hat" seems to have it in for a couple of dancers. Many opportunities to disappoint the judges. Many chances for "you're not growing" comments.

An opportunity to seriously injure one dancer in particular...

Good lord! Is Robert NEVER going to get hip-hop?

They must be missing a dance. Does the spoiler mean Laurieann Gibson is choreographing for the guest musical act or that she is doing a competitive number?

Hope it's the musical guest. Here prior stuff has been craptacular.

Based on the other info, it appears the musical act.

Billy & ? – Bollywood – Nakul Dev Mahajan
Lauren F. & Allison – Broadway – Tyce Diorio
Adéchiké & Courtney – Jazz – Tyce Diorio
Jose & Kent – Broadway – Spencer Liff
Lauren F. & Adéchiké – Foxtrot
Jose & Comfort – Hip Hop – Marty Kudelka
Robert & ? – Contemporary – Stacey Tookey
? & ? – Contemporary – Stacey Tookey

I think the writing is on the wall for Bily. Jose gets gifted with hip hop and Broadway. Billy gets Bollywood.

I'm going to say that this whole "all-stars" is a mess. Give me all-stars competing against each other in a mini-season, or just give me a regular season where we see competitors develop. Yes, the dancing level is higher, but the cost and the exposure of favoritism is too high. I see the shark and Nigel is jumping....

News reports seem to indicate that Nigel L is heading back to AI. Given the mess that that franchise is in, I see AI as a full time job. Wonder if he'll delegate SYTYCD or just end it?

AI is dead, so that's a dumb move if that's so.

Idol still gets some of the best ratings on tv. Better ratings than SYTYCD. But, in any event, it sounds like Nigel is just going to be a consultant to Idol. Ken Warwick is staying on as executive producer.

I think the show jumped the shark by doing a fall season. Now they're desperately trying to revive the victim, but they're only making it worse and worse and worse. Death feels imminent, although hopefully the life support won't be unplugged too soon.

Change of topic slightly...

We better see the whole top 7 on tour (unless it's the dancer's choice) because advertising is using them...
