Any predictions for the semis? I see Federer going through Djokovic without too much problem, and Murray upsetting Nadal in 3 sets.

Hard to say. I'll go out on a limb, though, and put my money on the Europeans. ;)

I wouldn't be shocked if either match ended in an upset, but Federer should make it through, and Nadal will probably grab his bat and hit the Sweet Scot. :D

Incidentally, Roddick was spotted leaving the O2 Arena wearing a shirt that read:

"I went to the ATP World Tour Finals in London, and all I got was this stupid T-shirt."

:respec: Rafa moves into the final, winning a tight backandforth match with Murray.

What a difference a year makes! Nadal was 0-3 here last year (cough cough - ring a bell, Mr. Roddick?) ... but is 4-0 this year and into the Final. :)

Nestor & Zimonjic over the Bryans in a third set super-tiebreaker. Not a surprise, but meh, Bryans effed up by finishing 2nd in their RR ... versus being a semifinals, this should've been the final.

I'm glad the last match Nestor and Zimonjic will play as a team is the final, way to end their successful partnership on a hight note. :)

ALL the boys look exhausted this week. :coffee:

Poor Berdych looked like he needed Sally Struthers to show up with K-rations and Gatorade.

To Andy/Bob/Mike: Seriously, I've still got a fridge full of leftovers, come on over.

Now, that's a proper divorce party for Nestor Zimonjic, ending their partnership on a high note. :) :respec:

You're late,my friend. The party is at Justin Gimelstob''s, or rather his charity event (https://www.thevaleriefund.org/donations/donate-jgcf.html) in New Jersey on Dec 2.

Were you allowed to attend the WFC if you weren't a celebrity? Seriously, that's the most star-studded match I've ever seen.

Congrats to Roger; best I've seen him play for ages.

Wow, what a treat to watch those two play, and the match see-sawed back and forth too. Fun! Congratulations to Federer. I hope he has a great off-season playing with the kidlets (Fedlettes?) and comes out roaring for the AO.

:respec: Mastery in that third set by Federer. Wanted Rafa to make the full recovery from '09's event, but Roger so deserved it this week.

Speaking of tennis kidlet adorableness :swoon: personafied Nestor & Zimonjic's tykes enjoy the ATP Finals spotlight with their daddies (i54.tinypic.com/14uym80.jpg)

Federer was definitely the best at this tournament and deserved to win. Rafa was good, but a bit lucky even to make it to the final. I'm not reading too much into this result, though. Federer won that tournament right before the U.S. Open, and then so many were saying, "He's baaaacccck!!!!" and predicting yet another title for him in New York. Didn't happen, though. When he's on, he's incredibly tough to beat, but Federer's play seems to be a lot more streaky these days. I also got the impression that, while Nadal would've loved to win, he didn't care nearly as much as he did about winning the U.S. Open, of course.

So concerning the Australian Open, I expect that Nadal will regain top form and do exactly what he needs to do there. Could Federer win the Australian? Yes. But I don't think his victory this past week changes the overall outlook that much, even though he played incredibly well and completely deserved the trophy.

I hope Serbia wins not only because I want Nole to finish the year on a good note but mainly because of the Serbian fans. There are no other countries where tennis is considered the BIGGEST THING. Hope they get it just because of that.
