Neptune, do you get the tennis channel? They are repeating the womens semi's tonight and tomorrow morning at 7am EDT.

No, but thanks for the suggestion, CaptCrunch. At least I found this link on YouTube, which shows the last 3 games of the match. :)

Yay for Kim. So wanted her to beat Venus and she did it again. She seemed like she had it in the bag, but then, as usual, Venus came back at her and I thought oh no, here we go again, but she held on.

Is there bad blood between the two, I wonder? Kim's handshake seemed extremely reserved. And in the press conference, Venus was rather sparing in her compliments toward Kim. By contrast, Wozniacki was quite complimentary about Zvonareva, saying she deserves to be in the final.

Doubt it. Serena and Clijsters are very good friends. I think Venus was just disappointed since she was so close to the final, and she's had a bad summer with the knee injury.

I wonder why Clijsters seemed to barely look her in the eye? There may be nothing to it. Maybe she'd just zoned out after such a crazy match.

for me it was a premature final...anyway, Kim :respec:!!!
btw, I did like Venus's dress - very elegant!

Nadal really looks strong. He might be on his way to his first US Open trophy.

I hope the Djokovic/Federer match is more entertaining.

Haha! Dick, that's terrible!! That's almost as bad as the Novak's comment about being with his girlfriend!

Djokovic and Federer has got to be better. This was a fridge break for me. I cleaned all the way around the fridge and underneath...

I think Kim's on good terms with most people, although she and Justine aren't the best for friends, lol. You also have to remember that often when a Williams sister loses, they aren't the most complimentary towards their opponents in their press conferences either.

Congrats to Rafa on making his first US Open final!

Just always seems like a good kid. :)

Well, the Sched. of Play said that the Fed vs. Djok match wouldn't start before 2:45pm Eastern.......it's 2:48 right now!

Just a little. ;) Almost gave up on the match after the 1st set. Glad I ended up sticking with it after all.

It was such a good match that somehow I forgot it was only a semi final, for a second I thought Djokovic had won the tournament!

OMG!!!

I haven't been that invested in a non figure skating sporting event since the Gold Medal Hockey Game in Vancouver.

That, pure and simple, was a classic!!! Just...WOW!!!

Congrats to Novak and Good Luck tomorrow taking on Rafa.

I feel for the Girls in about forty minutes. They've got a tough act to have to follow... :D ;)
