GREAT match-ups today in Toronto! Murray vs. Nadal & Fed vs. Djok!!!

Hopefully a :kickass: day of men's tennis!

Megi, you got tix for today? :)

Ana Ivanovic just retired against Clijsters down 2-1 in the first set in Cincinnati. Ivanovic is saying she heard something "crack" in her foot which isn't a good sign. She got it taped and then tried to play 2 pts but couldn't move and then retired leaving the court in tears.

I'm betting she's now out of the US Open.

Yes! :cheer2: Going to the evening session. It's my last day at the tournament and I'm a bit :fragile: because of that. But it's been a great week with some fantastic tennis, so yay!

Last night's Fed vs Berd match was crazy with the momentum shifting back and forth.

Djoko made Chardy was showing off against Chardy big time so it was very entertaining to watch even though the outcome was never in doubt. However, he called for trainer to tend to his arm in the second set (had been flexing it a lot in the QF too). Hope it's nothing serious and the semi is actually a good match. :)

Just when Ana seems to be making some more baby steps back, something potentially serious happens. Poor her - best of luck to her.

Quite intrigued to see Pavs v Maria later...

Murray up a set on Rafa.

yeah, I'm not a fan, but this is definitely unfortunate. There were talks of a stress fracture - I hope it's not that serious.

Who is the awful commentator that keeps whispering? I find it so irritating. This isn't a golf match.

I can't believe Murray won that easily. I like his chances v. Federer tomorrow if Murray plays how he has been playing this tournament.

What a weird match. It seemed two of every three points were decided by a UE.

Given this, I think Murray is more likely to win the finals. The USO is entirely up in the air at this point.

Can someone please invent some piece of technology to mute Sharapova? My ears are seriously hurting.

What a weird match.

Totally, it was a roller-coaster for both dudes. Not a pretty match by any means.

Megi, how was Djok's racquet smash live and in living color? ;)

Well, it sure was more effective than his attempts to convert the break points at 5 all in the deciding sat. :saint: Seriously though, didn't see it as it happened when I turned to my friend to snark.

That match literally gave me a headache. It was a bit of a fail on quite a few levels. First, Nole forgot to show up in the 1st set and found himself a set and a break down in like 30 minutes. Then, found his game all of a sudden, dominated the rallies hitting some amazing shots all that to choke eventually anyway. :wall:

Why do I always wind up a fan of all the biggest chokers and headcases? :yikes:

One set-all in the CIncy final. Maria led 6-2 5-3, then it rained, and Kim came back to win the 2nd 7-6. Third *should* be good. :P
